January 6, 20196 yr I bet we are the easiest team to gameplan for. Karen’s liabilities Are glaring. Sloppy, undisciplined, poorly coached offensively
January 6, 20196 yr Just looks like talent being wasted. Karen is at her ceiling and her recruiting has dropped off too
January 6, 20196 yr Author When Littleton gets going she can win us games by herself with her offense. Edited January 6, 20196 yr by texasstrong12
January 6, 20196 yr Author Ugly first half but this might be our best half of the season. This is probably a tournament team and we are running them in this 2nd half. Without Higgs. Edited January 6, 20196 yr by texasstrong12
January 6, 20196 yr Holmes looking a lot more agile. She's fully recovered from her injury now, finally
January 6, 20196 yr Author This team would be good if they could just figure out the turnovers. Like 3/4 the points we give up are in transition because of dumb turnovers. Edited January 6, 20196 yr by texasstrong12
January 6, 20196 yr Yeah our 18 point lead has been cut to 6 points. 19 turnovers Edited January 6, 20196 yr by perfectchaos007
January 6, 20196 yr Author Key moving forward is to cut down on the turnovers. Cut the turnovers in half today and this game isn't even close against a quality team.
January 6, 20196 yr Didn't think we would reach 70 points after that first half lol. Good win ladies!
January 9, 20196 yr OU comes to town today. They're 5-8 and 1-1 in conference play. Other than a 9 point loss to UConn, they suck. We cannot lose this game. End of story. They're young as fuck too.
January 10, 20196 yr OU's Tatum Veitenheimer is a cousin. My grandmother was a Veitenheimer, but she was also a damn Yankees fan. Hook 'em! OU sux!
January 10, 20196 yr Author Joyner Holmes still has her issues at times but a good half for her. She did a good job of distributing that half and getting teammates good shots.
January 10, 20196 yr Author We should ISO Littleton much more and just let her score. Edited January 10, 20196 yr by texasstrong12
January 10, 20196 yr 7 minutes ago, ClubWhatever said: Time for goldilocks to hang it up? Her team is dog shit WTF happened to her/OU? Or were we just that bad?
January 10, 20196 yr Author We will find out where Texas is on Saturday in Ames. Iowa State is really good and are probably undervalued at #20. They beat TCU by 40 tonight and it wasn't even that close.
January 10, 20196 yr ISU will be a challenge. They beat Auburn, who blasted the fuck out of OU. They beat Miami. They only lost by 3 to Iowa. They destroyed KSU and TCU. Last 2 games against Carlson, who has been a consistent thorn in our side every time we play them. They basically put 5 wings on the floor who can score from anywhere and will not hesitate to shoot from deep. They average 82.3 ppg, shooting 33% from deep and hit 75% from the line. As usual, Fennelly may not even be top 3 in talent for the conference, but they're #1 in sideline coaching.
January 10, 20196 yr 20 hours ago, texasstrong12 said: White has been checked out all year. I wonder if Mide starts so White can anchor the 2nd unit. White seems to be the one whose out there in crunch time regardless. Mide is a little more mobile, more athletic and has more length. White is kinda slow. But she usually hits her shots at close range. OSU - 16 for Mide; 20 for White WV - 12 minutes for White; 22 for Mide OU - 9 for Mide;, 22 for White
January 12, 20196 yr 51-44 after 3. Really bad at taking our foot off the gas. Up 13 and you give up an 11-5 run?
January 12, 20196 yr I will take a win in Ames. 64-62. held them 20 under their scoring average Edited January 12, 20196 yr by Js1
January 12, 20196 yr Sug has really taken on the load - 24/10/7 today. White and William also had 10. Holmes with 8. 50% shooting and 40% from three. Only made it to the line 9 times, hitting 6. ISU shot 34% and 30% from three. At Hilton. We did well. They only had 8 TO on the day. Our 17 TO is why it was so close. Edited January 12, 20196 yr by Js1
January 12, 20196 yr We should be undefeated at 9-0 going into Norman. Of course then it’s Baylor.... oddly seeing as we’ve already won in Motown and Ames I can see 16-2 or 15-3 if we lose @ OU. Better than I expected after losing Higgs. Edited January 13, 20196 yr by Js1
January 14, 20196 yr Tennessee has lost 3 in a row for the first time in 33 (!) years after yesterday's loss to UGA. We will stay at #11 I'm sure. No real opportunity to move up for a while barring big upsets for teams #1-10. Couple of ranked-on-ranked matchups this week like SC @ MSU, ASU @ Oregon State, Maryland @ Michigan State and WV @ Baylor (WV ain't ranked, but you never know).
January 14, 20196 yr I'm not quite sure why Charlie Crème is so meh about us. We move up to #4 seed in the Greensboro regional, up from #5. The team we just beat, Iowa State, moves DOWN from a 3 to a 4. I fail to see how ISU was ever 2 seed lines above us. 1 seeds - UConn, Louisville, ND, Baylor 2 seeds - NC State, Stanford, Miss St, Oregon 3 seeds - Syracuse, Oregon State, Marquette, Maryland 4 seeds - Texas, Iowa State, Arizona State, Gonzaga Oh, I think I see why. We are #23 in the RPI. That's pretty meh. Iowa State is #9.
January 17, 20196 yr Maybe we should guard K-States 3 point shooters. Just because they're a bad 3 point shooting team doesn't mean you can leave them wide open on the perimeter. They can knock those down
