These guys get love, but they deserve more.

I love everything about this band.

I love you honey but I hate your friends.

I hope I win the lottery before he auctions that guitar.

...absolutely...especially the name.

Wonder if he still has the restrictor plate on that red dragon

Cheap Trick from the Budokan was the sound track to my early childhood. I loved that album. I also loved Dream Police and One on One. I was really pleased when they got back on the map with The Flame in the late 80’s.

So much great stuff in their catalog, right up to present day.

They are sometimes described as power pop but there is nothing pop about this -- running around and screaming about suicide at the highest possible volume. What a fucking great band:

Bun E. Carlos may have been the coolest drummer ever.

Where do you buy a wall hanger for that thing?

If CT isn't my favorite band, they're pretty damn close.  "Surrender" set the hook in me.  They were my first concert, and they're still pumping out good new music instead of simply living off their past hits.

Can’t believe this hasn’t been posted yet.

My band does a marginal version of their version of ain’t that a shame. Pretty fun tune to play. Our singer channels his inner Robin Zander pretty well.

A live version was one of the songs in the first post, but nothing wrong with posting the studio version.   It's a great song.

Saw them a month ago opening for ZZ Top.  They were still good.

Can you honestly tell me you forgot? Forgot the magnetism of Robin Zander, or the charisma of Rick Nielsen?

Axe, Aldo Nova and Cheap Trick at Sam Houston Coliseum in '82 I think. Cheap Trick was good but they had to be because Aldo Nova blew everyone away. Great concert but sucked when we got to my buddy's truck and the window was busted out and our weed was gone.

That's your fault for not taking the weed into the show.

Don’t kid yourself. Bun is the weirdest one of the bunch.
