We're at 3-2 Fed in the 4th. Fed up 2 -1

Nadal has to break one of these last two and hold

Think you meant 3 not 2, bet yeah

Monstrous hold by Nadal. All the pressure in the world now on Federer.

Wow, what a game.  Fed holds on match point #5.

Amazing this guy can still play at this level.  You got to imagine he's like "I'll retire when my play starts to dip.  It just hasn't yet."

Halep is gonna run Serena to death

So, yes.

Serena went down easy.  You could see from the first game she didn't have it today.

The Halepeno wins it!

Great way to start the day.  Seeing that whiny, arrogant bitch lose.
Does she always start with the dramatic body language when she is losing?

lol Serena will never win another slam. She's too heavy and not willing to drop the weight to keep up. Margaret Court will forever be the grand slam title leader.

Yes. But she was classy today in the loss.

Is there doubles next ? ESPN has this blocked off from 8am - 2pm lol.

That was a good interview with Halep

and she's about to be 38 years old

Halep was courteous enough to not disclose the plan to beat Serena with the reporter. We know the plan was "Run her fat ass"

Halep - 13 winners, 3 UEs, 4/5 on BP chances.

Williams- 17 winners, 26 UEs, 0/1 on BP chances

Yikes.

These doubles players should be wearing Oakleys.

I think the biggest issue is that age, which ultimately wins, is finally catching up to her. The age is making it harder to lose weight. She recently had a baby, has a husband and all that. She's still pretty amazing to make these finals for how it looks like she is trudging along.

Didn't realize that Halep had a breast reduction, shame about the puppies but certainly seems to have paid off for her game.

Welcome to ~2014.

she should have filmed herself playing tennis nude a few times before the surgery and then released the videos for money at some point in the future.

Serena's speech is actually pretty gracious.

Great.  So she acted like a regular human being.  Instead of a petulant and insufferable child.

Woo hoo.

Watching the warm up show.  Getting me amped up to watch the match.
