  1. Simmons with the OU still in his twitter handle recruiting former OU commits for USC is something else.
  2. Are we still thinking the SEC move happens in 2023?
  3. If the $15 mil per year number is close to accurate, I'm not surprised ND was not willing to match it. That's crazy money.
  4. Rumor is he does not like to recruit and is generally not a great recruiter.
  5. I hear another Super Bowl coach may be available.
  6. I wonder how they decided on these "panelists." 8 ACC coaches, 6 Pac 12 coaches and only 1 Big 12 coach?
  7. The originally published article called Perkins a "(linebacker committed to Texas A&M)," but they fixed it.
  8. I think this is more about whether standardized testing is inherently unfair to minority groups. A lot of schools have stopped requiring standardized test scores for their non-athlete students, so it makes sense for the NCAA to do something similar.
  9. Is it just me or was the DE offsides on 1st and 3rd downs? Either that or he knows our snap count better than the OL.
  10. Obviously everything is fluid, but you have to think the SEC would have delayed their 2022 schedule if they thought Texas/OU were going to be announced as joining in 2022 anytime soon. Or maybe it is all just cover for the fact that Texas/OU are totally staying until 2025 until the minute they announce they're leaving early.
  11. I'm ready to test the theory that losing 3-4 games may help their recruiting pitch.
  12. Stewart forgoing the rest of his high school career to prepare for college.
  13. What? The Big 12 (or their media partners) would still have to sue Texas and try to obtain specific performance. It's not like the rights are sitting in the Big 12 offices and Texas would have to sue to get them back.
  14. I think only the ACC and Big 12 have GORs, right? The Big 12 schools would be leaving anyway if they could, so it seems like it would only affect the ACC.
  15. I think most state laws prevent the NIL deals from being dependent on performance - but I'm not sure if leaving school entirely would be similar.
