I am a big fan of spy novels. I read a lot of John Le Carre many years ago. I decided to go back and re-read the George Smiley novels in order. Over the last several months, I read A Murder of Quality and A Call For the Dead. Currently reading what some have called the greatest spy novel ever written, The Spy Who Came In From the Cold.

  13. Lots of talk about Jims. If you lived on the south side of San Antonio in the 60s the place to go was Jims Frontier on Goliad Road. The Flame on Loop 13 was also pretty good.

  15. The small hand carry baskets disappeared from my Walmart several years ago I assumed that they thought you would buy more if you had the big push carts instead of the small baskets
  16. I would agree with what has been said about Estes Park and RMNP. There are all kinds of hikes in and around RMNP. From easy to difficult. Just be aware that in Colorado even an easy hike might be a challenge due to altitude. Having been to Colorado numerous times, I would also mention Breckenridge. Numerous easy hikes in the area and Aspen is a day trip from Breck. If you are not interested in getting out into the mountains, You could HQ in Denver. Numerous easy hikes in the area RMNP and Colorado Springs could be day trips. Estes Park and Breck have numerous food options and hotel and condo options.
  17. I was at that 1969 game!!!! 27-17 Texas on the way to a National Championship. My senior year.
