Dodgers have won 10 in a row against the stupid Rockies

2025 NBA Draft - Gag for Flagg
Can’t believe the Nets draft. How do they not take a swing at a couple of Euro dudes for a stash-and-see. Or package a handful of those picks to move up. Or trade for some future assets. What a dumpster fire that team is going to be.

The only nepo baby I want back in the organization is Taylor McGregor. For obvious reasons.

Because when I think “up and coming baseball executive witch” these are the credentials I’m looking for: https://www.mlb.com/rockies/team/front-office/executive-bio/walker-monfort

Breaking news! Rockies president and COO Greg Feasel (who the fook is that) is stepping down at the end of the year to be replaced by…Walker Monfort. BURN IT ALL TO THE GROUND.

PGA Tour 2025
Scottie, Xander, Morikawa, Bryson, JT, Spaun, Koepka, Henley, Koepka, Griffin, Maverick, then Keegan if he wants to play or a late season “hot hand” (Cam Young?) would make a pretty formidable squad with a good mix of vets and young guys.

They are incapable of hiring someone from outside the organization. What a bunch of chucklefucks.

PGA Tour 2025
Horschel has a long term hip injury so he’s not playing this Ryder Cup. Spieth’s done nothing to warrant consideration and he’s hurt now too (who knows how serious). I hate Cantlay and hope he gets left off. What about Maverick?

PGA Tour 2025
The individual fans yelling stupid shit with the ball in the air are morons and always will be, but the overall crowd was insane down the stretch with some Ryder Cup vibes and Fleetwood withered. Nice preview for September. Keegan has to play at this point. He energizes everything in that area of the country.

Books That are Better as AudioBooks
Steven Pacey knocks the Joe Abercrombie books (First Law Trilogy and its related works) out of the fucking park.

NBA 2024-25 Playoff Thread
I could do the “there’s a title in my ear so I can’t quite hear you” but I’m better than that. Both our teams feel equally as far from a true title contender right now

Jaws 50th
Finished up my viewing of the original theatrical version. It’s basically a perfect movie. It’s still scary, thrilling, and funny after 50 years.

NBA 2024-25 Playoff Thread
Chet’s been less and less impactful as the series has dragged on, which puts more and more pressure on Jalen Williams to be a true second banana - feels like he has to have a great game in Game 7 now. Of course he’ll probably go to the line 14 times.

PGA Tour 2025
Rory is the king of the Sunday backdoor though. Him acting all petulant and not talking to the media at the PGA was really weird.

Buss family selling the Lakers
Gotta have some type of exemption for re-signing a home grown guy to the max. Jokic, Wemby, Tatum, Booker, etc. staying around shouldn’t hurt their respective franchises long term by tying them close to the second apron. Even guys like SGA and Haliburton who didn’t necessarily start their career where they are now but got there early enough probably shouldn’t count, or count as much.

2025 US Open @ Oakmont
Yeah the guy that’s won two majors since the last Ryder Cup

2025 US Open @ Oakmont
Cantlay’s majors record is as good as mine. I don’t care what he did while paired with Xander previously. The guy shouldn’t be on the team

2025 US Open @ Oakmont
Plus he might knock Cantlay off the Ryder Cup team, which is fucking awesome

Colorado Vacation Destinations - Not Quite So Crowded, But Still Cool
Get out from any open/exposed areas, do not lay on ground (you want as little contact between you and the ground as possible). All lengthy hiking should be done in the morning. The mountain will still be there the next day if the weather looks iffy.
