  1. Not sure how I'm feeing here since we spent whole offseason praying he doesn't leave so I think that guy is still somewhere in there, and we might just need a better OL, but I also think coaching Stroud would draw good candidates. Hopefully he irons it out in the next 6 weeks and we all live happily ever after. Whole team is having issues we just we're not having last year...
  2. I was wrong about that - they needed that timeout. Woof...
  3. 2 pt conversion to do down 9/remain down 11 instead of XP to go down 10?(...?.) If you say so.
  4. Didn't catch it, but you're probably not going to get into a better review situation and you're already down 10. Just go for it and hope the refs fuck it up. Not a bad idea, Jags.
  5. Ok, back to what was working. Heavy on Mixon, medium developing pass game. LFG, can put this thing out of reach right here. Nico seems OK, too.
  6. A second half TD! Really good drive though. Good protection on Stroud.
  7. A very heartfelt thank you to Trev Alberts for conning them into hiring you and then being Trev Alberts.
  8. Wisner is a gladiator. Total badass. Reminds me of JC, at whatever point you think you should've been tackled, he's down three or 4 yards beyond that. Legendary performance. Props to the OLine, his night as a reflection of their domination.
  9. Ah yes, our trademark wide open deep TD with no defenders and no safeties.
  10. Line has gone from -7 or -7.5 to -8.5 after Noon injury report release. Big and great news for us. Let's have a comfortable win, please. Smother their ragtag O and get back to work on offense.
  11. Can't help but wonder if aggy had not called that time out, which in my opinion hugely benefited Auburn, whether or not Auburn would've been able to pull it off for next play and clock stop and kick the FG. Lot could've gone wrong for Auburn, they had no timeouts and needed one badly and A&M gifted it to them....
  12. UK came in prepped to stop the run and Quinn cut them up very well in the first half and gave us a lead UK could not recover from by half. Play calling was good, run game took off as Quinn did his thing - it was a great game plan and play calling and execution were very good. No, it was not perfect, but this is football, shit is not going to go perfectly. UK's D is no joke, and we made them look bad, but that doesn't mean they aren't capable of making big plays. Overall, we kicked their asses. Enjoy it.
  13. Only 1 sack given up on almost 35 drop backs, 5.6 yards per carry for 141 yards total rushing. Yes, Dallas D is not great, but that's improvement at OL. Blowout W on Monday Night... maybe our first ever? Texans now 90% to win AFC South. All is good. Lots to fix but get to fix while winning and heading to playoffs. Offense leaving too many points on the field, defense still susceptible to big hit plays. Our draft picture is already coming into focus.
  14. Coming off that embarrassment to Philly and more time for their QB to settle in will have Dallas playing above their water level, but there isn't an aspect of the game where we shouldn't outshine them. Dallas gets good QB pressure so OLine needs to make another big step forward. We're good, they're bad. Let's go get win #7.
  15. This right here. Disappointing loss last night but Detroit is very good. 6-4 and in control of division and playoffs. Win the next three, use this time to continue improvement on OLine (4 sacks last night, need to be doing much better, still, but saw some improvement overall), and set our sights for the postseason.
  16. No bullshit, his whole timeline collapse centers around that roadkill he plated. That was Easter 2021. In fall 2021 they got embarrassed by Baylor and then lost Bedlam, and then he left for USC.
  17. Pretty cool that a fan who is clearly watching the NFL for the first time ever is interested in the Texans. "Any Given Sunday" is a very common term in the NFL, keep watching and you will eventually understand.
