Cam Robinson is a LT the Jags let walk for a mid-round pick bc he's 30 and expensive and his best days are behind him. It would've been a good idea for us to not make that move IMO.
The well run teams don't show their hands, they say the right things like "yeah Kenyon is our guy for sure" right up until you trade him or bench him. Caserio has earned some trust IMO, let's see what happens.
"Just win, baby."
Lead in the division is becoming a stranglehold. Colts are clearly the biggest threat, and they've been swept.
Need to figure out Green replacement this week, let's hope for good news on Diggs.
6-2!
True, it used to be very common, but it isn't anymore. People have gone away from it for a reason. Fumble chances are multiple times higher than a handoff and very little advantage is gained from it. LBers and DEs are too fast now. Have to block them, can't rely on RB to get some running head start and make the edge anymore.
If we didn't have Stroud I wouldn't mind the screen like that so much, but the best QBs don't throw that screen - they throw short routes for first downs in wel designed route packages. Need to make Stroud focal point of all third downs.
Good for Tank.
Felt like AR and Levis were such bad picks, such bad "well we need a QB and we have a first round pick so we'll just draft which ever QB is there even if they suck" picks and Im so glad to see that coming to fruition. Like taking Zach Wilson or Trey Lance or Kenny Pickett or Mac Jones or Daniel Jones or Dwayne Haskins ad nauseam.
Agreed on Rhule, and I think Ohio State is underbaked too. Will Howard does not wow, and they're not running it well enough. Thought Oregon was a blip, but maybe UO and tOSU are not as good as rankings suggest.
Good game right here.
I guess my joy at Nebraska sucking will have to be replaced by my joy at Ohio State getting jumped by Texas this week for playing like the 24th ranked team instead of the 4th ranked team.
Props to NU for showing up big.
Nebraska got exposed last week against Indiana.
I think Rhule is a very good coach so he'll coach them up after that, but going on road second week in a row into Columbus with Ohio State coming off a win-turned-loss with a bye week to let that anger soak in and set their sets on taking it out on Nebraska, this is going to be a thorough beating.
Love it when Nebraska gets rolled. Fuck Nebraska.
Also, dotting the i is the most overrated football thing I've seen first hand. Literally "that's it?".
Their DLine dominated. Our offense is not as bad as we looked. D played great, all things considered. Bad night but can't let that beat us twice.
All we have to do is win out, very doable. UGA fucked themselves with a bad first half against Bama and lost too, it happens (yes, UGA recovered way better than we did).
Came into this league with Peyton & Brady entering their primes... pretty fucking bad luck for us.
So, now we're the badass ones, first win at Foxborough and the South runs through Houston. FeelsGoodMan.gif
First comfortable win of the year, feels like we're building towards our potential.
