10-4
Anyway, Will Anderson is the highest graded first round pick after first two preseason games and it’s not vey close on second. Good shit.
Really liked what I saw from Stroud in Game 2.
People who celebrate wins like our first or freak out about the loss like Game 2 in preseason: I do not understand you. But I’ll defend to the death your right to say it.

Why are tweets not embedding for me… Checked Borked thread, didn’t see anything. Plz halp
Quick thought on O’s fans:
Baltimore sports fans in general are strong. So props to them for enduring the shit that team shovels and showing up once it’s fun.
But
People generally boo Altuve/Bregman because they wreck on NYY. No one boos Mookie or Judge for using the same system because they didn’t hurt NYY in the process. And they don’t boo Springer or Gurriel because they’re no longer wrecking on NYY.
Also, Baltimore… you’re NYY little bitch. They put you in a hole like Buffalo Bill and keep you there.
So maybe it’s time to start cheering Altuve like a liberator.
\Dumb rant
So much for that raising awareness campaign. Thanks y’all. Ugly bird though, I guess the male is a bit more suavé. Was unaware of Google Lens somehow?! That’s worth this shit thread alone… for me.
He hasn’t even had 600 ABs, so basically hasn’t had a year’s worth of ABs yet. Do you know how many great players looked average or bad through their first year’s worth of ABs? You don’t want to be the guy who gives up on Mike Schmidt et al because his first year was bad. Development takes time. And sometimes, yeah, it doesn’t work out. Not saying Meyers destined for greatness, but you can’t say it’s over yet either.
Good for Jake. He and Chas had similar splits through ~100 games, and Meyers had an injury after that. May be a solid player if given the chance, has definitely shown flashes.
5 IP, 2 ER, 80 pitches. Bring him back out, this is far superior to a big chunk of our rotation for a month or more.
With Cy Cortes out, it is time to go to work.
