- What savings scheme do you use for a kid?
529s for college UGMA/UTMA custodial savings account where we save and invest money (and also put in checks from family members like birthday and christmas) Greenlight account and card for allowance -- they get $1 per every year of age on a weekly basis.- Tell Me About Texas a&m
All turns on PK. His track record is elite. But last year raises major questions. Also wish we would have done more at LB in the portal.- Caribbean Travel Thread
Take my kids to St. Barth all the time and they love it. Started when son was 5 and daughter was 3.- MaybeACoordinator has passed away - Official Farewell Thread
Tell him we got Cook. Then he'll be like this:- The Supremes
That article is extremely misleading and attempts to hide what the case is about. It is about a law that bans minors from receiving puberty blockers and having their genitalia surgically altered. The Alabama court did not cite anything. The case is pending and one of the litigants cited Dobbs in their briefing.- KarenKeyLargo - Greatest Hits Thread
Not even a Mopery charge?- The Supremes
How can you put aside that issue here? This case is about an Alabama statute that prohibits puberty blockers and sex reassignment surgeries for minors. I guess you are in favor of minors being given puberty blockers and sex reassignment surgery? Also, it is not a court citing it. It is Alabama's attorney citing Dobbs to support their position that the state has the authority to block minors from receiving puberty blockers and having their genitals surgically altered.- Realignment talk not going away
The SEC has just a small handful of teams that will suck to play. Vandy, South Carolina and Kentucky in football. The Big 10 has too many spares. Rutgers, Maryland, Illinois, Northwestern, Purdue, Indiana, Minnesota. Way too much bread.- Hey Texas, what the fuck is wrong with you?
Some SWAT team shit going down in River Oaks today. 3800 block of Del Monte. Supposedly some doctor's son who is a Texas grad is holed up. Rumor mill says potential terror suspect. Terror aspect is probably BS. But I have been getting texts about it all day. A neighbor of the doctor and friend of mine sent me some pics of the dad with cops using bullhorn to communicate with him. FBI involved. A warrant was being served.- The Supremes
I am pretty sure that is him citing petitioner's reasoning. Not him adopting it.- The Supremes
The larger issue would be that physicians are licensed by the state.- MaybeACoordinator has passed away - Official Farewell Thread
Prayers for him, his healthcare providers, and his loved ones.- You fucking Texans are loons
Dan Carlin's Hardcore History covers the Atlantic slave trade in pretty nauseating detail.- Realignment talk not going away
Really needs to be a major restructure. Where teams like Maryland, Vanderbilt, Miss State, and Rutgers aren't in the top two conferences. Best way would be to have superconferences for football and men's basketball. And all other sports in regional conferences.- Hey Texas, what the fuck is wrong with you?
Yeah, those places definitely don’t have race issues.- Realignment talk not going away
Does it though? The western division will be garbage. The Big 10 will have way too much bread. What they should do is process Rutgers and Maryland.- The Supremes
If they could not use different and more liberal standards in blue counties, which is what the Democrats were trying to get away with, Gore loses. 7 justices said they could not use different standards. That ended it. The remedy that was 5-4 just hastened the end.- The Supremes
It was 7-2 on equal protection and 5 to 4 on remedy. - What savings scheme do you use for a kid?
