Western countries plan to increase weapon production in #Ukraine, as reported by The New York Times. According to the newspaper, yesterday's visit to #Kyiv by #NATO Secretary General Jens #Stoltenberg and the Defense Ministers of the United Kingdom and France is connected to these plans. Just have to give them substantial air defense in the meantime.

More of the story of the Ukrainian who fell out of the boat during the operation to disable air defenses on the oil rig. "I really wanted to live": the story of a special forces officer of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine who fell out of a boat and swam for 14 hours in the open sea. In mid-August, a fighter with the call sign "Konan" from the Artan battalion of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine was carrying out a special operation in the Black Sea. When the Defenders were returning back, an enemy Su-24 came on their trail. Trying to evade fire, their boat began maneuvering. That's how "Konan" ended up overboard. Shortly before that, the special forces officer decided to put on a life jacket and remove all his equipment, leaving only a diving thermal suit. In 20 minutes he was already 130 kilometers from the shore. The fighter admits that at first he panicked, but decided to swim. The landmark for him was one of the gas rigs, which was located about 20 kilometers away from him. "Konan" swam despite dehydration and fatigue. Only thoughts of his family added to his strength. At one point he saw a boat approaching. There were his brothers-in-arms who had tracked him down with the help of the Bayraktar. "The first thing I did when I felt the solid ground under my feet, I wrote a message to my wife, but I still haven't told her about what happened" - said the Defender in an interview with UP.- Русский корабль - иди нахуй

I wonder if Ukraine intentionally detonated it or if it was just good luck. More information about yesterday’s Khalino military airfield incident. As per Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine: At the airfield "Khalino" in the Kursk region, a Ukrainian drone was landed by Russian electronic warfare systems on the runway. When the leadership of the aviation regiment and FSB officers arrived for closer inspection drone exploded. As claimed, the following were killed or injured during the explosion: → commander of the 14th aviation regiment; → one of his deputies; → a group of aviator officers; → a representative of the FSB military counterintelligence; → airport employees.- Русский корабль - иди нахуй
Ukrainian forces chipped away another part of the Russian trench network, south of Robotyne, and reaching the outskirts of Novoprokopivka. Additionally, the Ukrainian army widened the control near Verbove, reaching at least the perimeter of the village. This also paraphrases that the primary Surovikin line in this sector has been clearly breached. While those tactical advances are interesting, more importantly are the strikes in the Russian-occupied areas such as Crimea, Melitopol and Tokmak. They continue to shape the operations, degrading the Russian capabilities and logistics on a strategic level.- Русский корабль - иди нахуй

9/22/23 Reading this thread. Jk...thanks everyone for sharing.- Who turns where
Agree, but if C is a 2-way, which seems increasingly likely, they really need to make 2 left turn only.- Русский корабль - иди нахуй
So I guess that's not suitable for the Crimean bridge- Русский корабль - иди нахуй
I don't know what else is out there, outside of the Taurus (anyone else have the Ford product in their mind?) but I believe the UK and France have already sent their equivalents.- Русский корабль - иди нахуй
Maybe a token amount sufficient enough to provide Germany "cover" to send the Taurus?- Who turns where
I think I disagree. 2 has no paint or (I assume) signage indicating it can turn while 1 does, so 1 is the only lane that can turn and should go to A. If they want to make B able to turn, they can paint it or add signs. Regardless, it's a bad design that was obviously completed piecemeal and/or without going through the trouble of merging the lanes prior to the intersection to make it clearer and safer.- Русский корабль - иди нахуй

https://x.com/TreasChest/status/1704830601558216802?s=20 ^ Details about the attack on the Russian base in temporarily occupied Melitopol... The SBU discovered the headquarters at a local engine plant, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces worked on the target. As a result of the missile strike, the commander of the 58th Army of the Russian Federation, as well as their chief of staff, was wounded. Also, more than 10 dead officers, several times more wounded.- Русский корабль - иди нахуй
GeoConfirmed UKR [CO] - Ukrainian VEHICLES also BREACHED the 1st SUROVIKIN LINE. Based on GeoLocated footage (by @moklasen, @Tatarigami_UA and @DefMon3 ) As expected the first footage of Ukrainian vehicles past the Surovikin line emerged. (Behind the trenchsystem protecting the 1st Surovikin line) On the footage in tweet 2/X (by @moklasen) you see the vehicles (from 82nd Air Assault Brigade) crossing the trench system. A Breach is a very complex operation. This Russian defensive line consisted of an Anti-Tank ditch, dragons teeth and a trench system with direct fire on the previous two. All covered by artillery. First recon elements went in, breached, and made a foothold in the trenchsystem. Followed by infantry units to clear the trenches and widen the gap of enemy direct fire on the breach. (Visible in timelapse on or map, see the infantry arrows) The treelines are full of trenches and defensive positions that need to be cleared before vehicles can come closer. It is a difficult balance between having direct fire support from armored vehicles and enough standoff from enemy anti-tank weapons, all while being in artillery range. It seems that the Ukrainian Army succeeded in one of the most complex operations in recent history of conventional warfare by breaching a three-layered defense system without air superiority and within artillery range.
