It seems like being a pathological liar is a prerequisite for associating with trump. I doubt he told anyone to lie - it's implied. The exception would be telling someone to tell the truth.
That was a bit of young idealistic brown water speaking. Way back I thought if that doesn't make sense - fix it. Now it's that doesn't make sense but is it workable - that's fine. Or if it isn't workable - screw it
Not complaining. I've been the beneficiary of that system. I just doesn't make sense to me.
If I was a (1) profit motivated company (2) in the golden age of my product and (3) aware that not only was I allocating it to the wrong markets but that (4) a secondary market existed to get it back to my primary one, and (5) at a premium, I would probably shift things around and save a few bucks on shipping in the process.
That's really cool. But I've never understood the logic of their Europe only releases given today's domestic demand. Read somewhere that STFB (select barrels) would merit a place in the Antique collection as the mashbill 2 version of GTS.
Sorry. I was meaning more in principle than this example. That wasn't clear from my post and I understand the optics and attention on this particular matter are very different than normal circumstances.
I meant this more in the Mrs. Brown Water asks how many bourbons I had last night and I say none but that it isn't an issue if I did.
Come to think of it, in my personal experience, that is in fact a losing argument.
I retract my original question.
The real irony is the Catholic's pace to punish abuse by children rather than abuse of children.
I understand these may not be considered children and the church isnt a monolithic entity but the history makes for odd optics
I'm no fan of trump or guiliani but I don't follow the concern about these arguments. Why wouldn't someone present both positions - that an event didn't occur and that such event, had it occurred, wouldn't constitute a crime.
Assume he's saying employees of private / publicly-traded companies are adversely impacted by short term pressures applied to meet investor expectations. Don't agree with his point but I think that's what he's trying to say.
