  1. I would assume that the Big 12 will follow suit and cancel South Florida and UTEP. That leaves West Virginia, Baylor, TCU, and Iowa State.
  2. I'm good with that but a competent organization would have had him getting experience in the OF all of his career. They have not drafted well and have no hope to win in the foreseeable future.
  3. Gallo came up as a 3rd baseman. He played at 1st and outfield to accommodate Beltre but 3rd was his natural position. Unfortunately Odor is the starting 2nd baseman but Solak has experience at 2nd. Frazier has played 1st before but was usually at 3rd. I thought Kiner-Falefa was a catcher but they have him at 3rd. Santana was a utility infielder He is in CF. I just don't see other teams with this many players out of position.
  4. Ok, lets see if I have this right. We have a catcher playing 3rd base, a 3rd baseman playing first base, and another 3rd baseman (Gallo) playing RF. Anything else?
  5. I just can't understand why anyone wouldn't want to go see this schedule: SOUTH FLORIDA UTEP WEST VIRGINIA BAYLOR TCU IOWA STATE
  6. I will also add to the underrated list of scores.
  7. Also option 2. It's expensive to spend the weekend in downtown Austin so my concern is more of the city policies. Will bars and restaurants be open? Will I be able to do anything other than sit in the hotel?
  8. 4 8 15 16 23 42
  9. What if I do not have a smartphone, or if my battery dies on game day?For issues in advance of game day, please contact Texas Athletics Ticket Sales & Services at 512-471-3333, and we will assist in troubleshooting the problem. On game days, please visit our box offices at the venue and present a valid form of photo ID that matches the name associated with the account. We recommend fully charging your smartphone before you arrive. Ticket FAQ
  10. Well sure if know in advance that you are going to need an electronic ticket.
  11. My issue is that I have had several occasions where I have tried to buy / exchange tickets via mobile apps outside the stadium and couldn't get a PDF to download due to the cell signal. I have to confess I am on Verizon which seems to be crap in Austin but this has happened several times. My only solution was to go stand in line at the ticket office and get them to print a hard ticket.
  12. We have an application that takes about 40 minutes to start. At your suggestion I created a cronjob that executes the stop script every 5 minutes. That was on Thursday morning. They still haven't figured out whats going on. I think that's enough. Thanks for the suggestion.
  13. Thanks for the advice. There are a couple of things that I can't do but I can use the permissions on the log files. I already put random characters in config and set the memory to 10GB.
  14. I have been tasked with intentionally breaking some of our Tomcat instances that run on RedHat. This is a test for our team to try to fix and start the applications. I have altered ports, changed permissions, etc but still need to come up with some additional problems. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.
  15. At first I was like "hell yeah! I'm in." Then I was reminded of our home schedule this year and so now "meh". Maybe 0U.
  16. If we were to determine this by number of posts about Texas then texags would be the choice.
  17. This is where I got the information. NCAA hit home run with new redshirt rule
  18. If I read this correctly he received a medical red-shirt for his freshman year (2017). He should have two years of eligibility.
  19. Thinking that if you donate and get no seat benefit then 100% of donation should be tax deductible.
  20. I already renewed. I figure if there is no season then they will just roll over the money paid to 2021.
  21. No, at his company you accrue x amount of PTO per pay period. As of his date of termination his PTO balance was 70 hours. The employee handbook that was provided by the company clearly states that any unused PTO will be paid out at the time of separation. When he was laid off he was told that they were paying him for two weeks in lieu of giving him two weeks notice. That was the way the statement was formed in his letter of separation. When he inquired about his PTO he was told by HR that they had decided not to pay out PTO. He wants his two weeks that was provided for in his letter of separation and he wants his unused PTO that was guaranteed per the employee handbook. He has spoken with other employees that were laid off. They received two weeks pay and had already used some / most of their vacation.
  22. Thanks for the responses. He is going to have a discussion with HR tomorrow. Depending on how that goes he has an attorney that is going to place a phone call to their COO.
