I don’t really seek them out because I need at least 3-4 other participants to finish a bottle. I find the flavor profile extremely enjoyable, but just don’t enjoy more than 4-5ozs at a time
Yes - New England has blue countryside. Oklahoma has red (getting bluer) urban areas. The rest of the country has almost uniformly blue cities and red countryside/small (under 100K) towns.
It's one of the things that annoys me about how we still tend to paint politics in America as state by state. Generally speaking, most blue states are blue because a considerable majority of their population is in high density urban areas. Red states are red because most of their population is rural/ruralish. There are blue cities in Iowa and Texas. 90% of Minnesota counties voted for Trump. Outside of Oklahoma and New England (where you have red cities and blue country side) this is true of pretty much the whole god damn country.
I expect parking to be a zoo everywhere. I'm an early riser. We'll be out there by 6-6:30 most days. That being said, maybe it won't be insane mid-week in January. I originally booked our hotel back in October, and out of curiosity last week, I checked prices. I booked a better room in our same hotel for $130 less over the course of the stay. Canceled the original and figured we just got a nice dinner out of the deal. If they're slashing prices that much, I'm kind of assuming there won't be as many tourists as normal. Yeah, West Fork. The spot north of Slide Rock on 89.
