watched a little here and there. Nothing exciting. Missed the part where he talked to his dad. Apparently that has thrown Rachael Lindsay off, because it reinforced a stereotype. May go back and watch that part but not sure I want to keep going down that rabbit hole
Clarification, it was recorded at 2PM this Sunday. S11 EP14 "Close Encounters" Two strangers are dropped in one of the most dangerous African locations in the dead of summer.....
Not sure it recorded one in the evening.
Not sure what to think with Low retiring in Germany. Still say the same I guess. I know he was never going to be a super long-term coach, but likes his projects. Hope it's not over for a ton of reasons, but if it is, WHAT A RIDE!
Saw Harrison's interview this morning on Good Morning America w/Michael Strahan. Harrison was apologetic and offered no excuses. Certainly planned but there was not, "I'm sorry, but...." just ~"I'm a bad guy and trying to learn and get better...." Didn't see or hear anything out of the ordinary I guess.
After the interview, Strahan says that it didn't go below surface level and was pretty dismissive. I don't know what he's normally like, but it seemed like a pretty hot take and likely intentional. Clearly the interview was pre-recorded and he had time to craft his post-broadcast response.
They have trent playing more attacking and the quick turnover got us. Better question imo is why he's doing that with Fabinho just coming abck and Kabak as our CBs.
Any 12 months+ to not have fans is terrible, but it seems a little worse for us this specific past year. Not only winning the title, but some losses the fans would have mourned together and lifted each other up including Ali's dad, Jurgen's mom, Ray Clemence and now Ian St. John. I'm sure I've missed some but those are some HUGE things that would normally be celebrated at Anfield.
Sticking to the episode. Didn't catch all of it, but was a little surprised that most of them kind of felt the same way. Did think Anna was sorry. Tough thing to own (and worse to say). Victoria was pretty much, "yeah I was wrong, BUT...." and everyone else seemed to feel about each other as they did during the season.
