That I haven't heard. They do have a sizable endowment, but it too was probably affected by the oil prices and the stock market. TCU was in the middle of a billion dollar campaign when this hit. Unless things turn around quickly it will be difficult to reach to the goal. They are about 2/3rds there. A crumbling economy is going to hurt all colleges in the near term. They better get ready.
Pallets leaning against the house in the front yard. How classy. However, you must admit the architecture of the house does resemble the Aggie campus, early North Korean.
I have to believe that they will play football in some fashion this year. Could be only conference games and it could be reduced capacity crowds. There may be a few schools that choose not to participate. Testing all the athletes will be the key.
The Pac-12 has great schools, but I wonder how many of them are currently putting an emphasis on athletics as much as the Big 12 schools do? They are also at a disadvantage being located in the Pacific time zone as well as a population that is not nearly enamored with college sports as we are in this region. Those reasons and years of poor leadership has caused the Pac-12 to operate in a far less powerful position than before.
Ranger's new stadiums are jinxes. In 1972 the first year of Arlington Stadium, the players struck and the season started late. In 1994 the new Ballpark in Arlington the season ended in August when the players went on strike. 2020, the Rangers are ready to open their new stadium, the players are ready, but the Coronavirus shuts things down. Batting 3 for 3 on not playing a full season in their new homes.
