Our restaurant bill is next to nothing. It's not even remotely offset by the grocery bill.- Formerly DT: COVID-19 - Featuring Lots of Politics, now CR because political talk not going away

They won't keep the ticket $$ if the season is cancelled. I just don't see that happening. I could see them giving those who already paid an option of rolling ticket $$ over and reclassing them a donation. For the record, I'm one of the dumb f**ks that paid my 2020 donation and for tickets in January. I'm prepared for whatever they decide to do. I will say this....if they just say, "sorry, thanks for paying early and supporting UT athletics, but we're keeping the ticket cash" I'm likely done with UT sports forever and I suspect I would not be alone.- Wives and the Stupid Shit They Say/Do

This is a really bad idea right now...- Anyone enjoying themselves?
I’m enjoying no weekly business travel. Work is about 60% of normal. Days are pretty laid back. Right now I’m enjoying having very little to do. On the downside I have a herniated disc and can’t really do any walking. The oppty to shed some tonnage may escape me as the “cure” is considered elective at this point.- Fire Shaka Smart
For all you guys bitching about CDC bringing Shaka back just remember 70% of you will be dead by the 20/21 season opener anyhow. Math majors over on the COVID thread should have told you.- College Football in 2020 in danger?
ESPN's "Get Up" was speculating that if baseball does get underway and the season extends into mid Fall the post season may end up being played in domed stadiums on neutral sites since weather in some cities would be too cold/inclement- Formerly DT: COVID-19 - Featuring Lots of Politics, now CR because political talk not going away

Lot's of woulda, shoulda, coulda's to come but not isolating NYC a week or so ago could be one of our biggest mistakes- Formerly DT: COVID-19 - Featuring Lots of Politics, now CR because political talk not going away
MARCH 26 2:30 p.m. — Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has issued his latest executive order to protect residents from coronavirus. This time, it's an order requiring air travelers coming into the state from New York City and New Orleans to go into a 14-day quarantine upon arrival, as well as fill out paperwork documenting their visit. Abbott said the process will be managed and enforced by troopers with the Texas Department of Transportation. Those who violate the order could face fines and/or jail time.- Formerly DT: COVID-19 - Featuring Lots of Politics, now CR because political talk not going away
Yet flights still operate between the NY area and the rest of the country. Great.....- Formerly DT: COVID-19 - Featuring Lots of Politics, now CR because political talk not going away
There is a whole bunch of "this could kill everybody", and a whole bunch of "this may not be as bad as we thought" predictions out there. It's probably somewhere in the middle, but I don't know which to believe. I know what I want to believe.- Formerly DT: COVID-19 - Featuring Lots of Politics, now CR because political talk not going away
