I was there on the 17th as well, the wife took me there as an anniversary gift. We were in line at 5:10 and ended up number 80 and 81. Everything was delicious but there is something about the chicken that makes it ridiculously good. Brisket was as good as I’ve had anywhere.
I understand the disappointment from Tech fans but the bullshit from Hocutt? He’s a god damned UT grad for fucks sake. How do you not understand him taking this job.
I think Shaka needs to be fired, but he won’t. (Hope I’m wrong) If you think there won’t be idiots out there bringing up his skin color you’re being naive. Texas is always worried about perception. Critics will talk about how he was a candidate for coach of the year, he won the Big 12, and completely ignore the reality of what we’ve seen the last several years.
First of all, I know I shouldn’t have listened to the Horns 247 podcast(FCB and TE is a complete moron) Chip said something about Alfred Collins being the Defensive MVP this year and Estes brought up Juwan Mitchell, I nearly spit my coffee all over my truck!
Does anyone have any insight into the freshman research initiative and how to get in? My son was accepted into the school of Biology and is interested.
I also have a daughter at Trinity, couldn’t be happier about the school. She’s more introverted than my son therefore Trinity was a better fit. My son is the opposite, he’ll start at Texas in the fall.
Spurs vs Mavs 2006 Conference Finals, if Ginobili just lets Dirk dunk the ball the Spurs win, but he fouls making it a 3 point play. The best thing about Ginobili was his competitiveness but it got him on that night. I still get pissed when I think about it even though #20 will always be my favorite all time.
This. One of the biggest head scratchers in the history of the HOF. You don’t have to be a Cowboys fan to realize this guy should have been in decades ago. Shameful.
I get what you’re saying, but salary caps and not being able to just recruit the best players severely handicaps the advantages that made him successful in college. He’s smart enough to know that.
