  1. The box score tonight will probably tell you the pitchers who don't make the post season roster. With the exception of Kuechal, not sure he makes it either. As Atticus posted earlier. We can't afford to get down 3-5 runs in the 1st inning and he doesn't fit the relief profile.
  2. We can add Oakland to that liest. Glad we wont have face a AL West team in the play offs. WAIT
  3. For all the excuses I hear about our issues hitting at MM. Seattle loves hitting hear.
  4. Gagreed. It might piss off some of the veterans.
  5. Nope and Maldonado brain fart. We have yet to enter the park tonight.

We'll know more by mid-season. He is a true soph with 10-12 games under his belt. Coaches need to call games to his strengths and the last two are heading that way. Definitely don't want to start over with another true freshmen QB.
  7. Well, i was the bigger man, literally. and figuratively.

    You're deappreciated.
  9. We will take another JUCO and probably a grad transfer. Combination of two or three likely to bridge a gap. Better to know this now about Sheppard than later in the cycle.
  10. He doesn't have much sense just sitting there. That punch-able guy must have landed in his lap. Had a similar issue at a recent astros game. About 4 or 5 guys sitting behind my daughter and her friend where going off with the language until I turned around and did the stare down. The two young guys left and the two older guys shut up or left. One was pretty embarrassed. He told the other guys to shut up before the security showed up to throw them out. My daughter ask to leave awhile later, not wanting anymore issues. The younger guys where hitting the sauce pretty hard and didn't care for the game at all. As we where leaving the two younger guys came back starting all over again. Should have called security as I left. Felt bad for the other people (women) in the area. Millennials

True. As long as they don't lead into turnovers. Opposing teams have to respect it.

Didn't Shane have the same issues. Maybe it's Herman coaching this trying to limit QB game changing mistakes. Edit: Shane also was like this under strong.

Funny thread. If Sam had a 65% completion rate. You guys would bitch that we didn't throw downfield enough. Also, is this a QB issue or a OC issue. I liked the offense from last week. It opens up the running game. Unless its double coverage, LJH and CJ should win most of those match ups.

^ This and just a great kid to root for. He must have some proud parents. With or without the NFL.
  16. Seems like you are in the know on these type of things. You should start your on investigating services. You probably would do well around here for $9.95. I.E. (Not being sarcastic or facetious) Don't want to get negged bombed. Maybe a full moon tonight. Perfect night for the Surly Fight Club.
  17. I think they both make it, if LMJ is ready. Not looking good for Peacock, McHugh and Rondon right now. I would take Peacock right now over the other two. He proved he could handle it last year. Don't think McHugh did much, plus McHugh and Rondon have been crap recently. Its who is going to step up over the next two weeks. Nice turnaround from Harris. We need another guy other than Sipp and Presley to get LHH out.
  18. Interdasting. It's actually not the size of the bone of the dog, but the hole the dog buries it.
  19. So we have Mack Brown posting under several user names. Okay Mack.
  20. There are a lot people scared of TCU on this thread. They are a very good team, but don't remember when they've been great. We just need to bring our best, which is always in question. Time to exorcise that demon.
  21. Players) Show up to play a fxoxoxo football game Coaches) Have the players ready to play a fxoxoxo football game Key) Players whip the sxox out of the horn toads and no turnovers=WIN What they did against SC will work just fine against TCU
  22. It looks like we finally have a good kicker and now we want him to punt too. Lets keep him doing what will help us the most. On the new punter, once our protection improves, so will he.
  23. Try watching it with your eyes open Frank.
  24. Sam seems like a great kid, but would prefer him being a great QB. Hell, he can be kind of a douche if he wants, as long as he gets the job done. Its worked for the University of Oklahoma the last couple of years.
