heh ... 172000 XMET shares transacted at .0015. That's not even close to the full order, but c'est la vie. Maybe it'll dip one more time today.

Bumped my XMET limit order .0015.

If the shares get cancelled, how does all the outstanding ownership get re-valued? Reverse split of owned amounts, with commensurate jump in value?

RCR are you seeing any downward pressure on xmet today? .0011 was as low as we got yesterday, and now trading back around .0013-.0014.

tsnp on a two-day rally. I hope the profit-takers enjoyed the stress they caused me.

A bunch of clothes for sale: Brooks Brothers, Tommy Bahama, Ralph Lauren
There's a sliding scale here of "amount of work" vs "amount of money received." The latter is never going to be very big, but to maximize your return you need to sell them individually, on ebay and on CL simultaneously. Other methods have been listed: easiest - donate, take deduction almost easiest - walk into Second Looks (I like the one up off of Anderson Ln). You'll feel violated when they tell you they'll give you about $3.50 for the lot, but at least it's something. They'll likely only want the best 20% of what you bring in. Take the rest to option 1. moderate - list as a lot on ebay, CL. There are ebay flippers who will take it all. If you do this, take a shitpile of good pictures; you're trying to cut off all the stupid questions and make it easier on yourself. hard - list individually on ebay, CL. Most won't sell, but there's a chance you can get a big hitter for the nicer stuff, and increase your top end. Be prepared for a thousand stupid questions, and postage + ebay fees add up over time ("free shipping" really isn't, you know). unknown - poshmark, etsy, etc.

We're going to need you to stop navel-gazing, and please inform us of the next stock that has a legit product, massively depressed valuation, and global economic situation that will cause a resurgence, please. Oh, helpful if it's trading under .001, but not required; only requirement is that the stock is pre-pop. Also, don't tell anyone else. Thank you, and good luck.

The goal being to put more shares back onto the market which they can then acquire?

This is ... not a great start to my research on GIX. "Gigcapital2, Inc. is a blank check company. The Company is formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization, recapitalization or other similar business combination with one or more businesses. The Company's initial business combination is not limited to any business, industry or geographic location, and intends to identify, acquire and operate a business in the thermos mechanical treatment (TMT) industry. The Company is not engaged in any business operations and has not generated any revenue."

Forgive the cynicism, but what you just described is literally the "Pump" half of a pump-and-dump :). Glad you're in it early, regardless.

Quoting myself here, two other pot-stock options that seem to have relatively stable business models, existing cash flow, and growth opportunities are Canopy Growth and Aurora. Note that both have some ugly things on the balance and income statements, but then, nothing is promised in this world. Both saw a big jump early this week, and some pull-back yesterday.

I wonder if SNDL still has big-jump upside? E-trade here. Looks like they index basically everything (TSNP is OTCPink, for example). I likewise bake in the fees; trading at a decent enough dollar amount that they're not material to the calculation (surly 1% lol). to our discussion yesterday ... can you give me some clarity on float-locked? Does that imply difficulty buying? That's another one that etrade current shows a pretty huge spread on - closed at .331, but the ask this morning (pre market, of course) is .35.

Possibly the best greens i've ever putted on. Certainly top 3 without question. Plus the history that place oozes, it was a hell of a day.

TSNP closed today at .1695, but the ask right now is at .23. That's a nutso spread - thus my question about 'actual' liquidity, RCR.

This great balancing information against the standard "it's a wild world out there with no regulation, why would you make investing harder than it has to be?" type articles that you can find on google. I appreciate it.

any thoughts on my earlier post about general risks / advice, RCRanger? I'm down to put some more on XMET even in the mid .0015s, but curious if there are things I should know before I jump in.

Oh, and to beat @DDD Dad to the punch, I also once four-putted from 25' to lose a significant amount of money for he and I to another surly poster. We were playing at a VERY nice club in Ft. Worth, and that was a costly lunch.

2020 Golf Thread of Disappoint Yourself
Everyone has this story :). I was playing in one of the big GCAmTour (RIP) tournaments at Streamsong in Florida. I woke up Saturday (1st round) and was really struggling. Got it around the first 10 holes ok, then game went completely away. Got it back and birdied 16, parred 17, and needed par on 18 to break 80. PIPED a fucking drive, caught the speed slot down the hill, had 152 to the pin, which is a fucking driving-range 8i. Straight-up skulled it long into the hazard, made double, 81. Breaking 80 with the game I had that day would have been massive. Oh well.

I've got a buy order in for XMET at .001, but it's refusing to drop below about .0014. May raise my limit this afternoon ...

Thinking of getting mo' deeper into the OTC world. Are there regulatory or individual-investor things I need to watch out for, other than the "caveat emptor" that these are non-regulated or less-regulated industries and thus carry the of risk just suddenly going to 0? Second risk I see is possibly not having buyers for shares I may own, due to market size (i.e. they're smaller exchanges with fewer buyers). I'm familiar with the OTC markets in broad terms, would love any second-level insight. Thanks.

Lol. Passed the news to a buddy. He replied "hell yeah, I'm in brother. Invested all the cash left in my account ... $35!" Ride or die, RDC. Let's do this. What other .0005-.001's are you watching?

Fuck it. I'm loving the r/m concepts. In on TSNP at .201 for a not-insignificant amount. Let's see $-land and I'll happily take the quick profits.
