  1. Pretty sure it was Excalibur. Aunt and uncle had the top loading, suitcase sized Betamax described in the OP. ...and TMC and Cinemax.
  2. Now that you mention it, heroin overdoses usually seem pretty peaceful.
  3. Ah. "Fast Food."
  4. How were the tortillas? (I assume that's what's wrapped up in the foil?)
  5. If you're passing through Katy around mealtime, check out Willy Burger on the main street, (Highway Boulevard!!??!!), in the downtown area. The original is in Beaumont but I've never been there. Made to order onion rings. Hee Haw Burger is great. Is it the best in Texas? Doubt it 'cause I haven't tried them all and there's a bunch in this thread that look fantastic. Is it worth a stop for any burger lover looking to love a burger in Katy, Texas around mealtime? Sho'nuff.
  6. I think they do.
  7. Oh he calls errybody "son". And get off his lawn!
  8. Carl obviously doesn't live in Texas. I don't buy their prepared stuff, but I love the cheeses, coffees, condiments, spices, olives, charcuterie, nuts, juices, and liberal return policy. My dog L-O-V-E-S the dried chicken strip treats. In fact, my TJ trips are planned around replenishing the supply. Seriously.
  9. Asteroids and Donkey Kong at Abbey Inn and Centipede at Posse East. That was pretty much it.
  10. Tryna get in on the Tide pods fad?
  11. Why do you think it's called "a mount"? Heyooooo.
  12. I was replying to Smax who thought Goode was the only bbq within 15-20 minutes from "next to Memorial HS". Yeah, that would be a haul from BP in Westlake, but it's not bad from I-10 and Echo. Of course, YMMV!
  13. Roegel's isn't far and damned decent. Nice folks also.
  14. You need to try to structure a Peace Treety.
  15. Along those same lines... Mindy McConnell NaNu NaNu.
  16. Just saw the ad on the Astros spring training game - The Mushroom Swiss IS back.
  17. Not a shed. Servant's quarters. Gotta Surly that shit up.
  18. Well, it used to be a funny joke.
  19. If you lived in Houston you could report it to the HOA and those nosy bitches would stop that shit PDQ. In Austin, you might try CPS, the zoning board, (there's no CO on that shed), maybe la migra, but if I were you, I'd move.
  20. Old joke: I want to die peacefully in my sleep, unbothered by age or illness, just like my grandpa did. NOT screaming and crying in fear like the passengers in his car.

    Don't forget Don Lemon's black hole. /noraciss.
  22. Must have been some young Turk as an old Giza would have known better.
