  1. Pop is a 5 time NBA Champ and has coached an Olympic Gold Medal team. He ain't no fraud. The Point Sochan experiment didn't pan out, but I view that more as an indictment of the roster at the time.
  2. Good night, Sweet Polish Prince
  3. Even from a purely self interested standpoint, you would want to showcase his talent to maximize his trade value.
  4. Thankfully the Castle pelvic injury isn't serious. Might not need him against undermanned Warriors so he should rest
  5. Randy Shelton (minute mark 36 min 40 seconds) played a big role in the Uncle Dennis bullshit. Story supposedly is about Kawhi being pissed that he was asked to wait until later to sign a supermax. Shelton was used by Steve Ballmer to begin recruiting Kawhi while he's still with the Spurs. Clippers hired an SDSU guy to further plant the seeds. Pretty interesting watch as we wait for this late fucking tip. I hope to god they are up 40 at halftime so I can go to sleep with a reasonable expectation that they won't lose.
  6. He's already on record saying his dick doesn't work. He doesn't even do this for sex (anymore, if ever). If his dick works it's only after a drug cocktail that probably takes at least an hour to kick in.
  7. DET now has a bigger lead over #2 in the East than OKC has over us.

  12. Sochan is still here. I say we let him cook. I wanna see hard, playoff fouls. Be the enforcer.
  13. BK has a gig with the Locked On network as their Texas Longhorns podcaster (daily pre-recorded segments) and was also doing Texas Sports Unfiltered, a project that was ambitious as hell. I didn't love all of the programming, but one thing I appreciated about it over sports talk radio is that no matter when you tuned in, you could be reasonably assured they would be talking about UT instead of other shit I don't care about, unless there is some much bigger sports story like the Super Bowl, Sherrone Moore, or Luka being traded to LA. My best guess at the story behind TSU ending is that BK realized he would never break even if he had to pay a bunch of other personalities like FCB to do 2-hour shows (the programming that would start after he and Bucky signed off at 9AM). From my perspective, what happened was basically a mass layoff. BK didn't kill the channel, he just re-named it to "Bucky and BK" and kept the flagship program of the same name, moving it from 7-9AM (early start) to 9AM-11AM. That and the show is being aired later in the day on AM 1300, which probably means he and Bucky can't be as "unfiltered" as they used to be, unless there's someone doing the dirty job of censoring the NSFR parts. Many of the TSU sponsors are still sponsors of "Bucky and BK," and with much less overhead I expect he will be in a much better position to be profitable. Personally I've never liked any of the Locked On shows, but BK does a solid job of rehashing everything Bobby and the other 995ers said the day before, for the people who just mindlessly subscribe and listen every time a new episode pops into their feed. The morning guys on TSU were all pretty good, I thought, but viewership seemed to drop off after Bucky and BK signed off of for the morning and it was very low after noon. So you could see how recruiting experts and Bellmont insiders probably couldn't be a realistic budgetary ask, hence the reliance on FCB and 24/7. TSU might have been more successful if it had started smaller, less ambitiously, and grew that way. Longhorn content creation is a crowded field, but to my knowledge none of the others were trying to do the same "unfiltered" thing, even though it was fairly tame most of the time and rarely meant anything more than curse words and maybe some statements that would raise eyebrows and lead to mandatory HR trainings. I haven't been able to listen much to the filtered version of Bucky & BK but the bits I've seen look basically the same as the unfiltered version. Perhaps this reset is going to work out. Personally, I would love an all-day, Longhorns-focused livestream. The less pretentious and self-important, the better, but I'll take what I can get. Lucky for me, there are plenty of other content creators covering the Longhorns, more than enough to watch all day if I wanted to. If it's good, the filtered version of Bucky and BK will be part of that rotation. If not, there's always Bobby posting a video every other hour.
