How Arch turned it around in the 4th Qtr: A film studr for Surly assholes. Come on in!
GD was ahead of his time. Everyone hated his 'horizontal passing game' that is now a staple in almost every system. He understood the math before most.

It's weird because the QBs that are running the league RIGHT NOW are all spread offense QBs that have talent. Mahommes, Mayfield, Hurts, Maye, Rogers, Love, Prescott, Stroud, Jackson, Allen, Williams... All came from a spread of some sort in college. There are plenty of players that come from pro-style college offenses that can't play in the league. The pro-style College QBs are fading. But, yes, The Manning fam picked Sark to train Arch on pro style and to get Arch out of what he likes to do, which is run. Yesterday is a example of exactly why. If you can QB, imo, you go where you have the chance to make throws.

This saves me from rewatching to figure out what changed. Essentially, we played 2020s CFB instead of 2000 CFB. This shouldn't be crazy difficult: *Spread the defense. *Use RB or TE to protect when the situation calls for it. *Get the ball out quickly and let the skill players work. I can't even with these slow developing play action NFL ass pass plays that only work with quality NFL OLines (notice it doesn't work for the Texans, Panthers, Bears, Dolphins...) Get it out.

Bracket. It was double covered.

Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
Both sides are right. We want to win, and Arch needs to play like VY / Colt / Tebow / Cam (but slide, Son... Quick putting your head and shoulders on a platter) The Manning wasn't him to learn to play pro ball now, not learn in the pros. Learn now , then perfect / iterate.

Best offensive player in NBA history?
Fwiw, I was a Magic Johnson basketball fan. There wasn't shit you could tell me when I was having this argument on campus. I remember being in the Moore-Hill lobby when Magic announced he had HIV. I ran to my room and cried. I'm from Indiana. Magic vs Bird was the greatest rivalry ever (because ou sucks and Peter Gardere gave zero fucks). And Michael Jordan is the greatest scorer ever. Had the 80s/90s game focused on threes, analytics, and calling fouls, he'd have destroyed the record books. Luka would have gotten the shit beat out of him in the 80s and 90s,because teams would figure out he's easily frustrated with contact and the refs aren't calling anything...and at his size he'd be a PF with almost no Assists. ( I think Luka has a chance to be the answer to the question. Luka is fucking cold, man.)

Never ever call a middle screen on 3rd down against a team that blitzes every third down. -Playsheet

2025-26 Houston Rockets Thread - Back to Contention?
22 turnovers. Way too many. That was what lost the game, imo. Everyone but Jabari was sloppy with the ball at times. KD late, especially.
