Poor Dave has never read his user manual. There are no rear emergency door releases for Model 3 up through model year 2023. The emergency egress from the vehicle is through the front doors, which have easy to locate and operate emergency releases.
I’m an OG Star Wars fan. Mom took me to see Ep IV in the theater when I was five. I love it so much that I’m not super-discerning with SW content. If it’s got the brand on it, I’ll watch it and probably find something to enjoy about it.
That said… Andor feels like a huge gift. It tells a compelling story very closely connected to the stories that hooked me when my age was in single digits. It’s completely new, but still tickles the nostalgia. The magic is still there.
aggy softball misery doesn’t usually pack the same punch as big three aggy misery… but this is Heisenberg-level purity.
Y’all keep a buddy around with Narcan tonight.
Has Graham published any new fanfic about how Earley has his team poised for a magical run through the SECT and NCAAT?
Shhh... no one point out to them that they would at home on their ass after tomorrow if the SEC hadn't expanded the tournament to be a participation trophy for every team in the conference.
I learned today. So for every quarter year of service, a player earns $6875/yr in pension to start at age 62. 43 days is a quarter year of MLB service. So with 9 years of service (36 quarters give or take), TK will get ~$247,500/yr starting at age 62.
Bummer that he didn't get to service requirements for a pension, but he still gets the MLB lifetime pass (given at 8 years).
I've really enjoyed rooting for him, and didn't stop after he left the Astros.
Florence Pugh was the best part of Black Widow and she completely carried this movie. Very enjoyable and the change from a Battle Royale finale was refreshing.
LCS have always had a Command Senior Chief (E-8) vice CMC (E-9). Some might make Master Chief while in the job, but E-9s are not billeted to LCS. There are several other smaller commands that have Command Senior Chiefs now. CMD is also a rating now, so to be a CSC or CMC, you have to go to command leadership school and shift from your old rating to the new CMD rating - i.e. if you were an OSCS, you would now be a CMDCS.
The way it's worded sounds like arresting gear failure rather than a bolter. Equipment failure will always pull the maintenance practices into focus. Once Sauron's eye turns upon your PMS (Preventive Maintenance System) boards, you are turbo-fucked. They will always find some place to ding you.
It may have been an E-3 who gundecked a maintenance check, but everyone who signed the report saying that it was properly accomplished will have their heads on the block. And the CO will be on the block for not properly training the crew or exercising proper oversight.
