If you think your going to be wiping out regularly, then go with the over the shoulder overalls so snow does ride up your back or down your pants when you have a yard sale.
Lots of pictures were taken today. The guy isn't doing well in his health. Up to 2 weeks ago, he was on the hospital in an induced coma for some medical reason. His doctors advised him not to travel to Texas from Georgia and he told them to piss off. He was going hunting no matter what.
Took out a gentleman this morning that is paralyzed from the waist down. This is the 4th year I've been able to take him out. He is the cousin of some high school kids that come out to help brush blinds before the season to be able to come out to hunt.
The NM resorts are behind because of an odd weather pattern where it is cooler in the valleys than on the mountains. They can't even make snow. Should change but they are way behind. I wouldn't expect any good snow until January in NM.
No shit. Daughter's basketball tournament just wrapped up. They won the championship but screwed all kinds of plans on going down tonight for a morning hunt tomorrow.
Contact Texas Youth Hunting Program through TPWD as they set up kids that don't have a place to hunt with landowners wanting pigs or does taken off their place.
Bringing in recruits to the glamour and hype, plus the hotties at USC he will have an even easier time recruiting than he did trying to get kids to go to Norman.
Real treat hunt this morning. I shot my uncle's Franchi o/u that he left to me on his passing this year. It was just brought to me yesterday and couldn't wait to get it out. I won't be taking it on many duck hunts but will make an excellent dove gun.
Here last 2 bucks have been DRT. I guess I can leave my gun back at camp now. She's a pretty good shot now. Being full-time guide ain't too bad, even the gutting and quartering. I made her help and hold legs and stuff. She's quartered put a hog on a TYHP hunt last winter so I know she'll get in there and do it. I'm back in the blind....by myself. She said she wanted me to go have a chance to shoot [emoji2] None of the daughters wanted to go out this afternoon. They have been having lots of fun playing around and are making dinner for us 3 dads. Fried fish and shrimp with surprise sides.
Lots of movement this morning. Had my girl on a spike that needs to be taken out when out of the corner of her eye, she sees this guy rolling in. We're on a management buck hunt so we had to evaluate him and get the thumbs up from the landowner via text. He said SHOOT HIM, so she did.
