  1. Did you hold it in the oven for 12 hours to keep that internal temp? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. Damn auto correct. BBQ not NBA. I was trying to figure out where in Ft. Worth that Panther City BBQ is located and noticed just down the block the Jesus also has a BBQ joint. You know you have some good BBQ when it is better than what Jesus makes. Going to have to try them out as I've been hearing they put out some good stuff. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  4. Texas Monthly's Top 25 New BBQ Joints in Texas https://www.texasmonthly.com/bbq/top-25-new-barbecue-joints-texas/ Smoke Sessions BBQ that I've talked about previously was 1 of 2 NBA joints in North Texas to make the list. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  5. How long did you let it rest and was it still really hot when you cut it? If not rested enough for the muscles to relax and reabsorb the juices, it could be a little dry. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

It's a struggle, but you just have to fight through it. Actually I normally get the 2 meat plate (at least that's when they offered meat plates) and finished it off with dessert. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

And the nanner pudding or peach cobbler with ice cream.....all you can eat dessert is always a pleasant finishing touch. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

I was at the McKinney location on Friday. Figure it would be for Frisco too. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Hutchin's BBQ has gone to per pound pricing, instead of per meat plate. Typical pricing for the meats and sides are $2.50 per serving. So lunch is a few bucks more now. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  10. Anyone looking for a cool place to stay, whether it be 2 of you or family check out Lambermont Castle at www.lambermontevents.com. it is primarily used as a wedding event place but they have rooms or an apartment over the carriage house to rent. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  11. Jambo's BBQ Shack. Ask to meet the owner while you are there. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  13. Definitely not City Market. Stopped in there last September and it wasn't good. It was so bad. I had to apologize to the family for taking the long way just to stop there. If you are stopping in Lockhart, Black's is going to be what you want if you eat Hutchins on the regular. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  15. That Tri-Tip is way overdone. Good tri-tip is best at medium rare.
  16. Nope. Delta flyer program comes with Clear for free, but if you have Clear you can use it at any airport that has it set up. I fly out of Love a lot and the pre-check line can get pretty long (to the entrance) and the Clear Pre-Check is wide open. Just another business expense and worth it. Saved my ass in Atlanta a few weeks ago on Valentine's Day. If you don't fly a lot then just pre-check is good enough, but if you are a frequent flyer and don't like lines even in the pre-check then it is worth every penny. Someone asked about kids. Yes, just like pre-check your kids can be added to your account at no extra cost.
  17. About to head out in 2 weeks for a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean on RC's Harmony of the Seas. Even though we have 3 kids, they are staying behind with grandma. However, if they were going I have no doubt they would have a good time. The list of activities you can do on the boat are a mile long, hence one of the reasons the kids aren't going. I plan on a relaxing vacation, not one that I'm trying to keep my kids entertained. They do have the kids club that their job is to make sure they have a good time so the kids can bug you about how soon can they have another cruise vacation. I'm actually looking forward to this cruise. It's a huge as boat and the food in the dining area and restaurants are supposed to be quality from the reports I've seen. The buffet can be hit or miss. Disney cruise you are paying for the characters walking around but if you want meals or other activities with them, that is extra. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  18. I checked out www.grumpsburgers.com and it seems the have locations in Burleson, Cleburne and Stephenville also.
  19. Both Tacos replied to C-Man's topic in Dallas
Damn sure does. May have to make a special trip out there on a Monday to check it out.
  20. Okay, I've never been to Grumps Burgers in Granbury, but the picture they used certainly doesn't make it standout against other burger joints. Whataburger pic taken on my phone looks better than that. Anyone ever been to this place to say how good (or bad) it is? https://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/restaurantsandnews/the-best-place-to-get-a-burger-in-every-state/ss-BBTEiS6?li=BBnb7Kz#image=44
  21. Well, there are about 700 other health coaches going (80% female) so the viewing at the pool should be good.
  22. My wife qualified for a leadership trip for an all expense paid 7 day trip on Royal Caribbean that is in mid-march. We've been on one cruise trip and that was about 15 years ago that went out of Galveston for 3 days. This is 7 days with 3 ports in the Caribbean. It's on the Harmony of the Seas and it looks like a mini-city that floats. We've got a nice room with a balcony so at least we won't be so cramped and I'm sure the food will be good. Lots of things to do on board or just lounge around the bar all day. Booked 2 excursions. One is a self driving Jeep tour through St. Marteen, ending up on the beach and the other is a snorkeling adventure in Haiti. The other stop is in Puerto Rico but there is a private beach party going on that day so no excursions which I would have rather gone on the Bacardi Rum tour. Anyone been on this particular boat and have any tips? What size rod and bait do I need to take to fish off the back of the boat?
  23. Last night went to Martin's BBQ in Nashville. Had the whole hog plate which was good as it had the seasoned skin chopped up into it. Aldo got a couple of spare ribs. They were a little on the dry side but we ate at 7:30 so not sure how long they had been sitting since coming off the smoker. It's a cool place with 2 stories it, with the second story having a beer garden where a band plays and lots of places to just hang out or play darts, ping pong, table shuffle board, etc. I thought only bbq places in Texas had lines out the door. Well, Martin's had one even in the rain but the line moved pretty quick. You stand in line to order and go take a seat. They give you a tracking device and will find you with your food.
  24. Great pork ribs and pulled pork. Didn't try their chicken.

If you go to Nashville, you have to go here.
