His publisher is loving this crazy nincompoop. Who the hell else besides some percentage of older shithead Patriots fans would be interested in his book if it weren’t for her antics.
I'm not sure of the tech reasons but my buddy that runs a golf cart biz here in Lake Charles quit/won't install AGM battery sets due to issues with them. They'll only deal with conventional Trojan deep cycles or lithium packs. Trojans are great but I plan on converting my Club Car to lithium next time it's ready. I'm tired of the watering and the mess on my garage floor.
edit - I don't know if it's the same with AGM or your charger setup but I also make sure that I unplug/replug the charge cable once a week if I'm not driving the cart for long periods. My charger will top up the cart after discharge, but it won't auto maintain the batteries after they've charged fully. If it sat for 6 weeks with no use I'd walk out to a mostly dead cart even if it had been plugged in the whole time.
The Frontier is still a quietly solid little no-frills truck that has fantastic reliability and gets excellent reviews year after year. Can be had for way less than the competition. The problem is nobody wants to buy one.
Same here. My first truck was a ‘93 Mazda B2600i 4x4 SE-5 regular cab. Last year that Mazda made their own rig. Unstoppable. It had 187,000 miles on the odometer and ran like a fucking top when I traded it in for 2000 Chevy S-10 ZR2, which is still the most bone-headed vehicle decision I’ve ever made.
We're about to ditch the wife's 21 Escalade for this. 6.2 with no engine/powertrain problems at all but have had multiple electrical gremlins over the years. A formal recall will smite the resale.
