It’s interesting that Scruggs was the first person I heard say Finley, “may want to do his own thing” away from Texas. Yet he still feels confident in his pick for Texas while the larger trend seems to be pointing towards Notre Dame.
I believe Andy Staples said that break down mostly relates to the national accounts. Recruiting will come from Rivals, college coverage will come from On3, but the individual team sites will continue to cover it all.
Something like that from his podcast this week.
Ryan goes down!
Not the most action packed night ever but a huge surprise in the main event.
Teo looked good in a lopsided decision. Haney cruised to the most predictable UD imaginable. But in the bout with the widest odds, Rolly shocks Ryan who looked like he couldn’t get out of neutral all night.
I was at a watch party so couldn’t hear much of the commentary but it was good to hear Lamps back on blow by blow.
Eubank-Benn this afternoon. I’m oddly facinanted by this one. Two of the most loathsome characters in pro boxing. And while I have no love lost for Eubank, my attitude towards Benn can only be described as disdain and upmost contempt.
Yep, he’s definitely the man at welterweight. Not sure i need to see him face the other belt holders. Rather he move up to 154 and take on Vergil Ortiz, et al.
