Please cite some examples. There was one time recently where she called on her supporters to harass MAGA people, not shoot, kill, punch or body slam them. Can you give me a second one?
Trump, the president, has openly called for violence against his political opponents and the media in general on many occasions, including recently. I really can't think many of any parallel examples coming from similarly high profile Democratic politicians, in terms of frequency or explicitness. I agree there is rancor and paranoia all around, but this is not a "both sides" situation here.
The texags thread for this is brilliant: https://texags.com/forums/16/topics/2992218/1
It's like reading through an aggy game thread where they take an early lead but then go on to get blown out.
Cruz is one of the breed of Republican who has made a legislative career out of "I tried to do X, but [insert scapegoat here] prevented me from doing what's right/making America stronger/putting people back to work, etc."
I hope so. If we were playing ISU in week 4, I would've thought we'd have a good chance. It's just that, after 7 games they look like the 2017 ISU team again.
I actually think the ISU game will the be the hardest game for Tech to win left on the schedule. Campbell seems to have a really good handle on how to defense Kliff's schemes, they've kicked our ass the last two years and it's in Ames. I think we would do well just to keep it close.
She's a vindictive old dyke, that one. I've heard that, to this day, she often lurks in the shadows in the Tech rec center, just waiting to pounce on any poor soul wearing UT gear.
The helmet logo reminds me of the patterned (i.e. American flag, leopard spots, etc.) aTm stickers you would typically see on the back of a minivan driven by an overweight white lady.
A uniform can simultaneously look clean but also in no way characteristic of the school wearing. Any all black uni with no stripes, white numbers and a black and white helmet logo would look as clean as ISU's all-blacks, but it would also be boring as hell if every home team wore that.
I personally like unique uniforms that easily identify who a team is. There's a reason why the NFL, for ex., tries to make sure each team has a distinct visual brand.
