  1. Got a friend that is making her mom’s kimchi fried rice recipe, and I’m gonna smoke pork belly burnt ends to go on top. Lots of salsa/guacamole/queso’s as well.
  2. Yep. in both 21 and 23 in Austin during freezes, we were without power for days, but an extension cable from the genny to the router and fiber jack kept us sane. For over a week in 21. This was with Google Fiber, so other providers YMMV.
  3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombardier_CRJ One of those small commuter types operated by American Eagle and the like. 60 Souls on board.
  4. Yeah, more and more reports that that is indeed the CRJ.
  5. Yeah, vids don’t work currently to my knowledge
  6. Vid of the crash via the Kennedy Center Webcam (sorry for the twitter link, couldn’t find it elsewhere). https://x.com/bnonews/status/1884791040890089602?s=61
  7. Sounds like it was a CRJ and a DC Police Helicopter that collided mid air while the CRJ was on final. https://wjla.com/news/local/ground-stop-airport-closure-reagan-national-airport-aircraft-emergency-place-helicopter-crash-federal-aviation-administration-metropolitan-police-department-plane-road-closure-washington-dc
  8. Yes. Seen it every time I’ve been to the big island.
  9. Just finished installing a generator switch on my furnace. 2021 PTSD is real. But I’m guessing I’ve all but confirmed Austin won’t get any winter power outages for the next 5 years because of it. You’re welcome.
  10. This.
  11. Would you say that COTA said @gofuckyourself?
  12. The bus from South Dallas finally showed up.
  13. Nevermind. Found one.
  14. Anyone got a stream link? I have had good luck for the earlier games on YT, but they are all pushing some third party site you have to pay for.
  15. Subbed
  16. Don’t think that is right. Thanks.
  17. Sounds like it will be Cotton.
  18. Question that I have not found an answer to. Do we know what sides of the brackets feed into the Orange and Cotton bowls for the semis? Im in a wedding in Manila that weekend, and Friday 8am game works better than a Saturday 8am game.
  19. I have a buddy with a suppressed P22, that when firing subsonic ammo it doesn't cycle the action, so I assumed that was what he was using. It's quieter than a pellet gun. But the single action makes sense as well for all the reasons mentioned.
  20. Had Geico for a decade. Had a couple of small claims, that were not my fault, and the other person’s insurance covered in full both times (while filing through mine). 2 years ago they jacked up my rates, and I saved 50% by switching to Progressive. Everyone else in my family went the other direction as me. Progressive to Geico. No complaints from me, other than my rates doubling.
  21. Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve are the gold standards. As @Dignan says, you may be able to get by with Adobe Express. It's the cheapest option.
  22. Someone I trust in the AD there (not related to football) claims the only way this happens is if a Pac12 announcement is imminent. They were actually hoping he was going to get bought out this year for an influx of cash to the department (if they were staying put in SBC). Shall be interesting.
