A lot is on Maalik and the secondary, but there is plenty that goes to Sark as well. We had 2nd and 5 late in the game in their territory and then pass the ball twice in a row to settle for a FG... When we were averaging 7+ yards a carry and had a QB that was obviously not comfortable in the 2nd half. Then not taking points multiple times (over multiple weeks). That falls on Sark.
And we've seen this same type of game from Sark coached teams multiple times during his tenure (big first half leads - shit the bed in the 2nd half). I feel that sort of recurring theme falls at the feet of the coaches.
Do y'all even watch the game? That wasn't a WTF interception. It was bad luck with the receiver falling/getting pulled down out of his break right as Maalik threw the ball. Of course it will look terrible if that happens.
Now his throw earlier in the end zone that should have been picked...
We can hire Maldonado to be a bench coach/clubhouse guy, but I want nothing to do with him as a player. He can't hit, he can't catch, and he can't throw.
I can't get over Dusty Baker leading off the 7th with Fatty.
And I can't get over how terrible the Dubon AB was in the 8th. Why the fuck are you swinging when he just walked someone on 5 pitches and looked nervous as fuck? Not to mention the first two pitches were balls...
And Montero in the 9th? Really?
And Kyle Tucker is giving people with the last name of Tucker a bad name (pulling an opposite of Justin Tucker)
Fuck
Lol - JV let down JV by hanging a breaking ball to Seager (that he was lucky wasn't hit 450 feet) and by missing his spot with that fastball to Garcia by a foot and a half.
Yeah - His fastball isn't nearly as deceptive as Javier's can be. But, if he can limit the damage to a couple solo HRs through 4-5 innings then I would take it.
