In view of the information included in the Afghanistan Papers, Congress should establish a committee to investigate the GWB, Obama, and Trump administrations to uncover their concealment of the US' mission in Afghanistan and the lack of "progress" in achieving that mission from the public. With respect to impeachment and Trump, the President is not allowed to wantonly lie to and mislead the public, and such a charge was made against Nixon in the proceedings against him.
Wow, an actual decent piece in the Atlantic, and related to this farcical impeachment of all things.

The fact that we are willing to support impeachment premised upon the delay of lethal aid of Ukraine (a rather dubious thing to be doing anyway), while we treat a colossal scandal that has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people as business as usual seems to be a rather clear and ominous sign that our society is broken at a fundamental level. Where are our priorities?
She could have said nothing at all. Has Bernie said anything? This is a hint regarding what she really believes about how this society should work (she believes it is sound but there are bad actors who need constraining via more assiduous rulemaking) and thus how she would conduct her administration if elected. The fact that she doesn't see the vast amount of harm Volcker caused both here and in the global south tells you a lot about the people she doesn't care about.
I don't think they had a close, intimate relationship, and her recent comments praised his work at the fed. So, no, I don't think that's what this is about. Indeed, I find Liz's philosophy similar to Volcker's in a lot of ways.
Volcker is a personal hero of Warren's. Someone might want to ask her why she feels his life is worth celebrating.

Also, Volcker is an apt illustration of why Liz's "capitalism, but with rules!" mantra doesn't make any sense.
Maybe there would be room for some type of intelligence service, but we should definitely abolish the NSA, DIA, CIA, etc. as they currently exist. Many in the intelligence community should also be subject to criminal prosecution for the harm they have done.
Tua has been slightly more productive on a per play basis, but I think Burrow should get it given his much higher usage rate.
Another comparison with Sam and Shane added for fun:
