Rodney Terry has been fired
Did he? It's not like they went to other schools. One went to G League and the other to Australia.

Diablo 4
Getting rolls on gear is always a challenge for me. Even tempering is a pain, as I almost always have to reset several items, and in some cases trash them. Seeing the same useless boost get selected 7 times in a row is pretty annoying. I'm just not lucky that way. I have had some mythics drop, but never the ones I need, and I had to craft both required for blood wave, neither of which has the optimal spec. Don't even get me started with the stupid amulet that has 3 passives on it. I'd be happy to get one passive I need so I can at least try to roll a second. That said, bone wave is pretty easy going once you adjust to the slower pace of spamming the main damage skill. Even with none of my gear optimized, and all my glyphs still ~75, I'm getting through Pit125 with over 9 minutes left. I'm no longer one-shotting the end boss, but 2-3 hits does the trick. My only real goals this season are to get to 300 paragon, and maybe get all original characters to L60. The Mother's Blessing patch that rolls out this week should help with both. I may try to get to Pit150, but it's not a priority for me. That said, if I'm going to do it, this blood wave build may be my best chance, unless the patch nerfs it. It's a hoot to spin up new characters and outfit them will fully upgraded witching powers. They are walking death. My dancing knives rogue didn't even fire a shot until L10.

What are you trying to pull here? This news seems positive. I didn't know that was allowed.

UT's next basketball coach - discussion/debate [Sean Miller Hired]
That is a valid point, but I'm not sure our fanbase has the patience for another "wait and see" situation. Whoever we get needs to have enough of a proven track record to get the benefit of the doubt, or needs to demonstrate early that he is up to the task.

UT's next basketball coach - discussion/debate [Sean Miller Hired]
Year three, ya say? How long of a leash would a new coach get here? This is only Terry's second full season. Is showing improvement from year to year enough (obviously, Terry is failing in that respect)? Also, Golden is 0-2 in the NCAA tournament, and 0-1 in the NIT. He may turn out to be great, but I'm not sure he is the best example to make your point.

Texas Basketball Recruiting Notes: It's Miller Time
This is the sentiment that I wish more posters had. For those of us who preferred to stay hopeful when Terry was hired, reading all the negative crap was a miserable experience. Most of us aren't delusional, and we knew that hiring Terry would likely not lead to the level of success that we all want for our program. Given the option of immediately jumping on the "we are fucked" bandwagon or looking for some positives, I chose the latter, and do not regret it. I don't need all sunshine all the time, but it sure is nice when my sports fandom supplies happier diversions from other aspects of life.

UT's next basketball coach - discussion/debate [Sean Miller Hired]
I wouldn't know, but it could probably be better. My limited understanding is that our floor is higher than most, but I would still assume that there is a direct correlation between having program buy-in and NIL contributions, at least for those who make sport specific donations.

UT's next basketball coach - discussion/debate [Sean Miller Hired]
Does hiring the guy from Drake reinforce the suggestion that we're really serious about men's basketball? I'm not sure it does, and I would assume that it would impact how much NIL is available. CDC needs to hire someone who will generate excitement. I have confidence that he will.

UT's next basketball coach - discussion/debate [Sean Miller Hired]
I can't speak for everyone who was in that category, but I have seen enough. I'd prefer we hire a great coach who is also a good person, if such a combination actually exists.
