Early voting is under way in Minnesota as well.
And I'm not sure that polling has fully captured the downballot effect of Dobbs, especially in Michigan with the abortion protection measure on the ballot that will win 65-35 or thereabouts. I realize that not all of that 65 are Democrats, but having this at the top of the ballot is not conducive to red wins.
I know Pete Meijer's seat over in Grand Rapids is a place that Democrats are on the offensive, but are there any other House districts that could get swamped by the measure?
An acquaintance from here in MN is currently hunkered down at her folks' place near Fort Myers. They never said if they were in an evacuation zone. I'm afraid they have no idea what is about to happen.
Iowa +10.5 and UNDER 42.5 vs. Michigan. Better Wolverine teams than this one have gone to Mordor and gotten punked. Hawks are something like 6-2 at Kinnick against Top 10 teams since 2008. On Iowa unders until proven otherwise.
Maybe Illinois +7 at Wisconsin? I realize that there is no shame in losing to Ohio State at the Shoe, but the red weasels looked reeeally bad doing it. Plus Fat Bret would love to win one up at the Camp.
Oh, I fully agree on the need to get the deal done. But given the Republican reputation for somehow finding the worst possible outcome, they would have found whatever the worst possible outcome is for the workers while keeping the trains moving.
My mistake. I didn't know about those strikes. Thanks for the info.
If this negotiation had happened when Trump and the Repubs been in office, they would have imposed a contract that was even worse than the old one. Suffering is the point.
Nevada +20.5 at Iowa and UNDER 39.5/40. I know Nevada sucks, but will someone explain why Iowa is laying 3 TDs to anyone? I doubt Iowa loses but this will be another disgraceful display of fumbles, punts, and 1 yard out routes on 3rd and 10. Also, I'm on Iowa unders until they tell me not to.
