He has been spraying it all over the park by his driver standards so something is off.
Can shafts be non conforming (obviously yes, just not something you hear about often)? For these guys, I would bet shaft is far more important than the head. And for Rory, I would think you could stick whatever head at the top of his go to shaft and you'd never know the difference so his driver struggles are that much more of a mystery.
Side note... The commenters talking about Scheffler not playing well... He's within 5 going into the weekend you slap dicks.
The golf can't be beat. We just joined a club in Scotland for the discounts on other courses for an upcoming trip - annual dues are only $350 and the course is an old Tom Morris design. Just bonkers how affordable golf is there.
And there are companies that can pull this off. They don't have or need unions. And then there are companies where they can't pull this off (for a variety of reasons). They get unions. It's self correcting, to an extent.
And if your argument is "well, you can just quit and stick it to them" - think about that from the perspective of an employee living paycheck to paycheck. That's just not a feasible solution.
Both of you are correct on all counts. There were a ton of good reasons for the move and one bad one (it's how it's always been so we shouldn't change, which is a stupid reason to not change).
It gives a nice cadence to the calendar as well with one golf major per month for 4 months and then the FedEx in Aug.
This tweet and others like it have to be financially motivated. Like.... How much does it cost to have him tweet what you want? There is zero chance he gives two shits about her otherwise.
Colonial is the best stop in the DFW area. By a HUGE margin, too. A lot of the top players will skip it but that's a great course that stresses a lot the aspects of golf most modern courses don't, like Augusta in that respect.
DFW has a handful of great courses and Craig Ranch ain't it. Colonial is epic. DNat is world class. Vaquero is wonderful but no way the membership invites a PGA circus. Fields Ranch East is going to be a great host for the PGA Championship. DCC and Lakewood I've heard are great but I'm not wealthy enough to be allowed on premise.
But Craig Ranch and Trinity Forest blow. And yet, that's where they decide to play. This would be a far better event if they'd just pick one of the other better options in the DFW area.
You seem fun.
So you want a company that has been under intense scrutiny for the last decade for taking too many shortcuts, being blamed for numerous groundings, fatalities, etc, to now go and speed up the production of the most advanced passenger jet in the world all while operating in this new found supply constrained world?
I love this idea. Do it. Please.
Not to pop your bubble but... Pretty sure that's always the case as US bound passengers go through US immigration and US customs in Canada and fly as a domestic passenger, essentially. So no duty free allowance.
You can also go to the PGA Superstore at the Arbor Walk or Golf Galaxy. They have good simulators there and indoor to boot. Just "demo" a club - they've never really cared and I think they're just happy to talk shop mostly.
Agreed on this - GPS is real hit or miss when you're playing a hilly course like many in Austin.
Max 100% wins this if he (or his team, not sure who is at fault here) would have given the place back. He was ripping that circuit to shreds - 2nd place on laps 2 thru 5 would have turned into 1st real fast and that looked to be a track where clear air made all the difference. He was forced to give up clear air and too much of a gap and that cost him.
