Texas Basketball 2022-23
I get far more joy in having a team that dominates at home than taking two kids that just want to get stupid drunk on candy and sugary drinks.

Texas Basketball 2022-23
At this point, just keep showing progression. We've seen UT basketball peak early and then collapse and that's no fun. This style of basketball - high tempo, push the ball, guard heavy - feels like something that can't be as easily countered like previous Texas teams that did great in pre-conf play so I have hope we can keep the momentum going. We're going to run into a cold shooting night and lose a head scratcher but rather than that being the start of a trend like in years past, with this team it feels like it would just be a blip.

I'll take one for Team Old. I definitely don't - what does it mean? Edit: too late, typical old here.

Formula 1 2022
I didn't realize Hamilton was 38+ and that he's 2nd oldest on the grid by nearly 3 years. Damn he's been around a while.

USA World Cup Match 2: England
Beat Iran and we advance. That's about as good as any reasonable USMNT fan could have hoped for going into the World Cup and here we are. Let's goooooo!

USMNT 2022
I love CP10 but Tyler Adams is the real Captain America.

Backstory is English fans are dicks.

USA World Cup Match 2: England
We were the better team today. We deserved 3 points. Going into this I was hoping for a 1 goal diff loss. So ya, I'm still pretty fucking excited. This was a good sports day. Almond dinner jacket is next. U - S - A!

USMNT 2022
At this point, just put CP, Reyna, and Weah up front and let them free flow and play off each other. We don't use a 9 very well and we don't have a good 9 anyways. Just put our 3 best attacking options up front, let them be creative, and get out of their way.

USA World Cup Match 1: Wales
We need a hold up guy - that's how our goal started, Sargent did a good enough job of holding up the ball, allowing CP to make his run and pick it up. Reyna, CP, and Weah would have been bullied out of the way at the onset if they were in Sargent's shoes. Though maybe we are good enough to play through the lines and not try long balls that require hold up play - I don't know, GGG hasn't tried it out yet.

World Cup Day 3 - ARG/KSA, DEN/TUN, MEX/POL, FRA/AUS
Why not? Also, I don't "have" anyone doing anything, I'm just playing out scenarios.

World Cup Day 3 - ARG/KSA, DEN/TUN, MEX/POL, FRA/AUS
9-3-3-3 and then GD. Which is essentially the same currently but you're hoping Argentina loses another game now. There are probably other variations out there but I have 0 interest in thinking through them all.

World Cup Day 3 - ARG/KSA, DEN/TUN, MEX/POL, FRA/AUS
I think Argentina is a shit ton better than what they showed this morning. In a scenario where I need a win (which the loser today absolutely does) I would rather play an Argentina that is through or only needing a draw than an Argentina needing a win.

World Cup Day 3 - ARG/KSA, DEN/TUN, MEX/POL, FRA/AUS
I think it kills you because you're getting a fully focused Argentina that will have 0 interest in squad rotation and probably have an eye on racking up goal diff.

World Cup Day 3 - ARG/KSA, DEN/TUN, MEX/POL, FRA/AUS
The loser, if there is one, would be turbo fucked needing a win against a pissed of Argentina.

World Cup Day 3 - ARG/KSA, DEN/TUN, MEX/POL, FRA/AUS
She's always been attractive, IMO. Just most of the time you see her on a pitch, covered in dirt, mud, and sweat and now you see her dolled up with made for TV makeup.

USMNT 2022
Adams was shit going forward because he was too busy ensuring Wales couldn't counter in the first half and then snuffing out attack after attack in the 2nd. Which is exactly what we need him to do. If Adams doesn't see the attacking third all game, I don't think I care. That's not his job for this team. Musah, McKennie, Aaronson, and Reyna (fuck you GGG) - that's their job to be the MF link to the wings and forward, not Adams.
-
USA World Cup Match 1: Wales
We'd be hoping for a Wales loss first and secondly a draw while trying to gain the goal diff advantage. But Wales won't lose if England are already through. In that scenario, England vs Wales would be for 1st in the group (6 to 4 on points). I don't think England would settle for 2nd in that scenario.

USA World Cup Match 1: Wales
For all moaning about CP taking set pieces, who else should do it? No one in that starting 11 takes set pieces for club. No. One. Yes, CP sucks at set pieces but unfortunately, he's probably our best option until Reyna, Aaronson, or Acosta come on. Why he continues to take them after Aaronson and Acosta subbed on, I present you one GGG and his infinite wisdom. Most likely.... We lose to England, Wales beats Iran and loses to England. Then we just have to go out and curb stomp Iran and hope our goal diff is good enough. Not dead yet.

USA World Cup Match 1: Wales
Wales wins the national anthem battle. Last thing they win today.

Quick highlight vid. This kid is a stud.

USA World Cup Match 1: Wales
McKennie over Aaronson (if that's even the consideration) is my only gripe - pretty minor all things considered though I am bummed not to see Aaronson and his endless energy play 45+. About as good as we can hope for. Let's fucking goooooooooo!

MUNDIAL XXII
Which is also ridiculous. Three, maybe. Two is absurd. Hasn't it been 3 in the past and then they reset for the playoff?
