  1. Just like all those morons applying to Harvard and MIT, totally gaming the system. slick
  2. Sadly I don't remember that one. If there's a video I'd love to see it. What a fucking chode that guy is.
  3. For the rest of my life, whenever I think of Shaka Smart, I will think of players slapping the floor. Well, that and him losing. Sweet legacy bro.
  4. Amazingly not often -- only a couple of times. That's a great addition. He was really doing some amazing stuff musically before the end.
  5. Was that fight filmed in slow motion?
  6. Blood Incantation is so good. I will try to hit the Behemoth / Deicide / Rotting Christ lineup next month.
  7. OB/CD is genius
  8. Agreed. New Converge stuff is solid.
  9. He was heading in such a cool direction, though, where he finally seemed at peace with his insecurities and faults and was simply focusing on writing solid music and being a family guy. He might have lost some of the spark that drove him for a couple of decades, but the 70s proved that that might have not been so bad. He went overboard with some of his material in the 70s. Would've been great to see him compose music as a wiser and more seasoned musician and human being.
  10. As I said, I'm not a plumber. I don't want to be a plumber. I don't care what it's called. It's the pump that takes all of the shit and piss and grey water from my downstairs bathroom out of my house. It's also the thing that eventually wore out and stopped working, and what caused the actual plumber I called to get the dry heaves, curse God, and nearly set the 100 meter dash record getting the fuck away from whatever hell he witnessed when he took the cover off of the wastewater storage area that the pump sits in. Dude did get a very nice tip from me when he was finished, though.
  11. But then I'd miss out on all the hilarity
  12. When it comes to plumbing, I'm basically paying whatever I have to so that I don't have to do it myself. I mean, when you have a licensed experienced plumber pull out the basement extractor pump only to hear him yell "Jesus, fuck!" when the odor hits him and haul ass upstairs to get some fresh air, that's money well spent.
  13. I think he's more of an actor than a standup, but he did create a lot of his material in the early days. He was notoriously quick during the SNL days onstage and off, and a lot of his Caddyshack and Fletch lines were ad libbed. I think at some point his narcissism took over, and he became content to be a paid actor with a massive ego that could just phone it in. Also, at some point a person's loathsome personality overshadows any of the good stuff that previously existed (see Bill Cosby).
  14. Pretty much all of it. But at least you'd have a colorless flammable gas cloud floating around in your kitchen while you downed soggy starbursts.
  15. "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. And face. And body slammed. Repeatedly." -- Audra's nemesis
  16. The Jerk always gets a pos rep. 100% of the time. If Hitler posted a gif from The Jerk I'd rep it.
  17. I liked him when he first came out, but he's searching for material and his delivery is played out. His new movie looks absolutely godawful.
  18. As a massive VH apologist, DLR is fucking atrocious now.
  19. I loved Sam Kinison when I was a dumbass teenager. I still like seeing his debut on Letterman just because nothing like him had ever been seen before. But most of his material hasn't aged well as I've grown up and gotten smarter. His stuff about Christianity still makes me laugh, though. "The depiction of the end of Jesus' life is always the same. He's always on the cross, surrounded by worshippers saying 'It's a shame he has to die like this.' And Jesus saying 'Maybe I wouldn't have to if you'd get a ladder and a pair of pliers.' "
  20. Yeah we were at a Broncos home game a few weeks ago and my wife started to get annoyed every time I told her "yeah, that guy's a longhorn" each time the announcer said a name.
  21. Still driving stick. This car is going to outlast me.
  22. They should get an automatic deduction, equivalent to at least 1-2 losses on the schedule. It's bullshit.
  23. Reminds me of the big swing in Madhiba stadium in Durban, South Africa. Nope all the way around, especially that little ladder down to the catwalk.
