  1. Deafheaven seems like one of those bands that many metal fans don't like and many non-metal fans do like, even though it's clearly heavy material.
  2. The sound quality is awful for sure. But as a kid, all I heard was the sheer excitement of the show coming through loud and clear.
  3. Give a listen to Live at the Hollywood Bowl and you'll hear several times where the audio just starts warping because of the sheer volume and high pitch of the screaming.
  4. Exactly -- I started watching it mid second half to see the fireworks and basically it was just aggy running us into the ground and Durant disappearing. I guess the highlights were earlier in the game. Thanks for the dick punch.
  5. Also, this is what I saw when I was in Tokyo not too long ago 11-23 078 Movie Tokyo Mario Karts driving.MOV
  6. soooo....go karts
  7. That's a pretty biased telling of the story. I mean she did say she wanted to go upstairs to her apartment real quick, so pretty much even steven
  8. I'm getting the same error when trying to go to the homepage. I've tried the www route and the non-www route. But when I paste a link to a specific board, it's fine. I'm in Safari. Firefox works fine. Cookies are enabled for surly in Safari, so I don't understand what's happening.
  9. I only saw their bowl game, but he was clearly the standout player of that game. He jumped off the screen as a man among boys - always in the right place at the right time, disruptive, and fearless. Bo Barnes has a lot of promise and will probably be a great player, but this is a clear upgrade for next year.
  10. It's been about two hours and you were exactly right. If this thread keeps delivering the great vibes like it has for the past two hours, I'll continue the "very fun weekend" by smashing my dick with a hammer
  11. Nah, that hearing test bit still kills me.
  12. Ha. That made me laugh more than anything I've heard from Brian Regan lately. I just feel like he's gotten stale. Big booming silly voice, some "duh, isn't everybody stupid" jokes, rinse and repeat...I really enjoyed him and still like some of his earlier routines, but I think he's been coasting. Longevity is a tough racket for most clean comedians TBH.
  13. Pretty funny story about meeting and jamming with Prince. No basketball or pancakes, but still pretty good:
  14. She'd be perfect at a law firm. They have a lot of documents to shred.
  15. Hopefully she was also ticketed after the fact for illegally parking in a handicapped spot.
  16. There are few things as satisfying as watching assholes get their comeuppance. Bullies getting beat down, Karens getting kicked out, sovereign citizens getting arrested, reckless drivers getting pulled over...always satisfying.
  17. Joey Freshwater, activate your powers
