How is an elevator stopping between floors "ok"? These att commercials don't make sense.

Rats/Mice No Play the Game
Rats are really difficult to kill. Once they know someone is trying to murder them, they wise up and they become really cautious around bait. There are traps for them but cats are probably one of the more effective things you can get. There's a guy on YouTube who tests lots of different rat and mice traps and he has a lot of success with the rolling log style traps when it comes to mice. These kinds of traps are fairly humane and cheap to build. Glue traps are just cruel and they can get out of them.

missing south austin woman
There was a case years ago in Florida where a woman walked into a hospital in scrubs and took a baby. It was born to a teen Mom, idk if she knew but it might have played a part in picking that particular baby. The woman who took her raised her as her own but at some point, the girl realized something was wrong. She basically solved the case. It was a really tragic story. I believe this case was one that brought a big push to really have better security for newborns (as well as hospitals mixing up babies on occasion).

It's borderline impossible to snatch a baby from the hospital now a days so if that was her plan, it was a pretty poor one. Then again, the plan she did go with was pretty fucking stupid as well. So it's a possibility.

That spelling of Megan is the most Utah name I've ever seen.

Toddler Falls Out of Cruise Ship Window
I watched an interview he did and I'm going off of memory here but I think he said something like he fell to his knees when he let go of her. So probably a few seconds before you see this dip he does, she was already gone. I don't really get his excuse at all. Nobody has any business dangling a child from a high place. Even if there was a lower deck, she probably still would have died. Or did he think there was just an extension of the balcony he was on on the other side of the window?

5 HPD Officers Shot
If you turn off Amber alerts, does it stop the blue alerts? Just curious, I have a 71 tree number but I don't live in Texas and didn't get this. Or does it go by tower location?

2019 Alamo Bowl: Texas vs. #11 Utah - Pregame Discussion Thread
I work for Utah. One thing they got going for them is their fans aren't obnoxious. I was at UF for years and the fans are next level. It's actually hard to believe the Utes even have fans because no one ever talks about the team. There are a lot of Mormons at the U but it's not BYU. People aren't at work praising the Lord or whatever it is Mormons do. Religion isn't really talked about other than someone mentioning their mission. I'm not really looking forward to this but maybe that home field advantage will do something. When's the last time Texas played a pac12 school?
