Best Pocket Knife?
Ugh, yeah....that sucked. I used that little surgical blade and had to resharpen multiple times over the clean. The "other" knife was a big Rambo knife which was useless except for splitting the pelvis. Took my friend on his first deer hunt. He assured me he wanted to use his own gear and I wasn't hunting, so I left all my stuff at home minus the little wet stone thankfully I had in the console. First deer that walked out - BOOM. I hear it, immediately head over, he shows me his "knife" he was so proud of and I'm like dammit....luckily we had the little guy that did most of the actual work. Fun times.....

Toyota Tundra. 2019, so the "real" engine, but that suspect twin-turbo. Purchased for the same reason. I like shit that I can count on. As stated, I carry a Chinese Civivi and it's been fine. Blooded a few times during hunting season, mainly use for delivery boxes. No worries if I lose, but because it was so cheap, I will never lose it.

This might illustrate how overpriced and overmarketed American knifes are. They have features and attributes that almost nobody uses and are sold at prices starting to rival firearms.

Too vascular and red up top. To be that disciplined, you'd see the same with the lower body. Clear "sign" is the rapid overdevelopment of the chest, shoulders, and traps. Maybe he is, but I doubt it. Dallas - Even Shittier than Normal
A lot of the elementary school are having under-enrollment problems as well because people aren't moving. They're sitting on low rates and tons of equity, but where are you going to move to unless it's out of state (which we are eyeing) The whole rumor about a holy man in India "blessing" Frisco may or may not be true. If so, it seems a marketing ploy to generate momentum. In reality, it's all the corporate buildings and HQ's up here. Tons of land, subsidies from Plano & Frisco to build, and a massive demand for skilled white-collar labor. Are there shenanigans with Visa's.....probably, but that isn't localized to just Frisco. People are social creatures and like gravitates toward like. I'd do the same if there was a pocket of hillbilly crackers in Mumbai and I moved there. Not sure if curry and Schlitz go together, but I'd find out.

Probably fine. If you're not entrusting your life to it or taking it on some back-country excursion, who cares. If it works, it works. Go stab some shit and post pics.

Dallas - Even Shittier than Normal
Meh. Live in Frisco. Kid a senior in HS. The beforementioned claim of shittier athletics and difficulty making the top 10% is true. Again, meh. I did see that Frisco had 17 perfect SAT scores, which is a statistical improbability, but we'll see. Academic cheating is rampant up here, but that's everyone. Not saying that is the case, but there are lots of questions. One elementary school is almost 90% Indian, so the numbers are rising. The Costco off Eldorado sucks saggy tits when the temple lets out or they park their cart in the middle of the isle to talk to others. That should be a justifiable homicide ruling, but that isn't race specific. Talking to you Dolores and Francis gabbing about g-children and knitting styles. Move your shit or I will beat you to death and shove your crusty old body under a 50lb bag of rice. I don't give two shits except for the fact that many of the drivers are 1st gen and can't drive for shit (one old Indian bitch hit my son in a double turn lane, claimed "no english" and just drove away), and the gym hygiene is a little spicy. Other than that, come buy my overinflated house as I fade into Bolivian...

My little Chinese Civivi Praxis folder is still going strong. D2 steel. Murdered an ungodly amount of delivery boxes and still haven't needed to sharpen. $30 on Amazon.

Texas BBQ
I live in Frisco. There is a Market Street up here (grocery store) with a bar in it, so I can grab a beer while getting my wife a box of q-tips. Their wine selection is stellar, and recently I've seen RLV Cabernet. Rancho Loma Vista. It's not bad. I usually keep a few bottles for when family of friends that have been through Coleman come over. So glad they are doing well. I've never stayed at the B&B, but I have visited it and met with the owners. Former Texas Monthly people that moved out there decades ago. Good friends with the Goree family that own the T-Bone ranch outside of Valera. As in the Goree expo center at the rodeo grounds. Massive Odessa O&G family with obvious deep pockets. Between those two families they've revitalized the town. Car show last year they have downtown Uploading Attachment...Uploading Attachment...Uploading Attachment...Uploading Attachment...

The Gun Owner’s thread
Made the pew-pew with the new AR. Tried to fire standing at 50 yds. Ooooofff. That was, um, humbling. I was as shaky as an old barn door. Reticle just bounced back and forth over the target. Managed to keep them all around basketball-sized group, but damn. I'm old....

Sadly, Big O's is no more. Lynn closed the doors and I haven't been by there in a while. Not a surprise Smokesmith closed, as I never saw anyone in there over the years. Rancho was so spectacularly successful because it gave small town patrons pizza and appetizers that rival anything in the big city. Black Cur is amazing as well. There is a BBQ place on the north side of town, on the same strip as Allsups called Bella's. Might be worth checking out, but I've never been there. Our usual rotation is Cattle Drive (try the Kylee Special with steak) or Owl's for lunch. Pizza or Steaks for dinner if the kids are with us. The olive oil store next to Cattle Drive has a great assortment of stuff, so I'd grab a few bottles if you can. Where are you staying? At Rancholoma?

How was Army able to be so successful, weren't they an all-male, military institution. And wasn't ND also all male back then as well? It's......umpossible.....- Truck Nuts
I just want this little monster- Truck Nuts
It is if you aren't a huge fan of thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars being added to the price of your new car. The new Tundra engine, while "better" on paper than the venerable 5.7, is hot garbage. There are hundreds of thousands of total engine replacement recalls being done now. Not repair. Replacement outright. And this is Toyota, the bell-cow for reliability. Why did they replace it: fuel economy and emission requirements. What do you think the carbon footprint is for a manufacturer to completely rebuild a new powerplant, then replace hundreds of thousands of them that don't work properly? Now give me my Hilux!!!!!- Best Pocket Knife?
I still have mine from Hong Kong. Kind of still works if you shake it- Truck Nuts
Vehicle Emission Standards are over. Hopefully, next they'll get rid of those stupid frickin' engine kill switches almost all cars now have to meet MPG requirements. And hopefully we can get small diesels over here. Daddy wants a Hilux! https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-revokes-basis-of-us-climate-regulation-ends-vehicle-emission-standards/ar-AA1WeBvd The so-called endangerment finding was first adopted by the United States in 2009, and led the EPA to take action under the Clean Air Act of 1963 to curb emissions of carbon dioxide, methane, and four other heat-trapping air pollutants from vehicles, power plants and other industries. Its repeal would remove the regulatory requirements to measure, report, certify, and comply with federal greenhouse gas emission standards for cars - Worst National Titles in CFB History
