While watching the first quarter of the Ohio St/Michigan game, the commentators said that, after their loss to Oregon, the Ohio St coaches did a complete overhaul on their defensive scheme. Not making the playoffs is disappointing for OSU, but they managed to have a really good season. There are intelligent coaches out there. Coaches who can make in-season adjustments. Coaches who are competent.
There just aren't any coaches like that on our staff.
To get this thread back on track, I have 2 questions:
#1 Is there any word of Ewers doing 'behind the scenes' recruiting for us?
#2 Will someone send me a box of bitcoin?
Kids born the last year OU won a national title in football can now legally buy alcohol. The okies are freaking out. We need to do everything we can to encourage them.
Kenny Vaccaro streams on Twitch. He was asked on Twitch if the CFC would get us some killers on the o-line. His response, "We're gonna have killers across the board homie!"
Money is all young Texas fans have. There reaches a point in your life where you cross a line of demarcation, and the currency that is the most valuable goes from being money to time. The old cigar boosters with the deep pockets at all of these schools know they have a very limited number of football seasons left to enjoy. I salute them for taking their shot. Last year, I wish we had done a dynamic move like what we are seeing now. But we didn't. As usual, we acted like we are Washington State or Purdue. Many of us on this board will most likely never see another Texas national title in football. If I had serious bank, I would be on the horn with CDC. Alas, my broke ass will have to root against ou and aggie winning a title before I die.
