  1. We just got back from Jackson on Monday. We spent a total of 10 days and it was amazing. My pictures don't add anything to those that have already been posted, but I felt the urge to write something about the beauty in that part of the country. We flew into Salt Lake City and then drove up to Rexburg, ID the first day. We spent a day there and went to Yellowstone Bear World and the Legacy Flight Museum. Both were very cool. We then drove through the West Yellowstone entrance and drove down to Jackson. We made several stops on the drive, including Old Faithful. We didn't spend too terribly much time sight seeing that day, as we had plans to go back up during the week. While in Jackson, we took a scenic river trip on Snake River one day and then did a whitewater trip on the same river later in the week. Both trips were fantastic. We did get back up to Yellowstone and spent an entire day driving around up there. At one point we got into a traffic jam that delayed us by a couple of hours. Once we saw the reason, we were not disappointed. There was a herd of bison, probably at least 200, that were in the midst of moving from one side of the road to the other. The same day we went to the Grand Prismatic and the Little Grand Canyon. Back in the Jackson area we went to Teton Village and rode the gondola up to the top and saw an amazing view of the valley below. I can't recommend this trip enough if you have never been. The only drawback about the trip was a bit of a haze from the wildfires, but even that got better as the week progressed and the winds shifted. There was a little rain at some point that helped clear the air quite a bit. When we left Jackson, we drove back to Salt Lake City and spent a day and half seeing the sites there. This trip was a first for me and it was the best vacation that my family has had.
  2. I'm just not invested in this team at all this season. I'm pretty thankful that I've had other more important things to do besides watch any of these shit shows. I think that the entire coaching staff and front office need to go. I usually go to a handful of games, but this season I have no desire to spend the time and money to see this shit.
  3. The last time I had an energy drink I had to lay down because I got severely light headed and my heart was racing. Haven't touched them since.
  4. Lake of the Ozarks. Rent a house/cabin and a boat and spend the days on the water.
  5. A semi pulling a trailer that does not match. Amazon trailers being pulled by red tractors have really drawn my attention recently.
  6. This team is a fucking embarrassment.
  7. I am of the firm, yet uninformed opinion, that no matter what they do to tax a specific income group, I'm going to be the one getting fucked.
  8. Yeah, they fucking suck again.
  9. It's really good guys!
  10. Storing the jar upside down in the pantry tends to help with the oils rising.
  11. As long as Angel Hernandez isn't in the rotation, it would be an upgrade.
  12. Not sure about "Poor Aggy". Bama's accomplishments are shared.
  13. I got sucked into managing my kid's 8U LL team this year. I have not managed a baseball team in nearly 20 years and they were older. I have never managed a team at this age. This is turning out to be a major test of my patience. We had our first game last night I can't come close to counting how many times I said "Put your glove back on", "Turn around", "Watch the batter" and "Stand up". You folks that have managed at this age group for more than one season should be up for beatification.
  14. i'm starting to come around on TON as a hitter. I hope this is actually what he is.
  15. This bullpen is so fucking bad, I had to turn it off and go to bed.
  16. That's just karma for all the "injuries" they have in soccer.
  17. This team... wow. Feast or famine.
  18. Looking like shit this weekend. And TON is not a gold glove caliber player. At every age you are taught that your first step is back in the outfield, yet he breaks in and the ball goes over his head.
  19. Instead of fining, I'd prefer public executions.
  20. What about the "Wooooooooooooooo!!!!!"ers? I hate them too.
  21. Are those highlights in slow motion?
  22. WTF was Shildt thinking last night when he sent Yadi out to second base in the top of the 10th? Fairly softly hit ball allowed Yadi to move to third, but if that had been a single to the outfield there is no way that Yadi scores. I was confused on that one. I was actually thinking that he would have sent Knizner out to second. Not ideal, but way better than Yadi and you don't lose another bench player by using a different runner. Anyway, I thought Shildt made a mistake there. Luckily they won anyway, but that could have been one of those head scratchers that you have to answer for after the game.
  23. They pointed him to the best repair (medical) centre.
