  1. I read this part wrong.
  2. I was just coming back to post that.
  3. Samuel L. Jackson would have been good, too.
  4. We have a couple of female Great Pyrenees and they are awesome and assholes at the same time. They are stubborn, at least to a certain extent. They do what they are told, but they don't do it right when you say. They tend to wait to do it until it seems like it was their own idea. We have also fostered 7 puppies so far and intend to keep doing that. One of the girls won't play with the puppies, but she does keep them in line. She doesn't hurt them, but she definitely lets them know when they are doing something that they should be doing. The other girl loves to play with the puppies, and she is the one that has had a litter of her own. Kind of a weird dynamic, but it works. Anyway, although GPs can be stubborn, they are fantastic with the kids. They are patient and gentle and they keep an eye on their 'flock'. That being said, unless you have a fence that is at least 6 feet, I wouldn't recommend one in your situation. If your fence is 6 feet, a GP would be awesome for you. One more thing - get a doggy door.
  5. Good but sad... The rescue got an application to adopt this guy last night. This one has really grown on me.
  6. and some wd40, amirite?
  7. Disclaimer - my response is the way it is because I'm not an expert at Access. I'm a MySQL guy, but I can normally fiddle my way through any sort of database. However, the time you spend researching and figuring out how to automate it may be shorter than just doing it the way I said. Actually, I thought of another option. If all of the tables are identical, you could create a query that includes the data from all of the tables using a UNION ALL between (if Access even recognizes UNION ALL). I'd be glad to help. I have Access on my machine if you want to send the database to me. PM me if you want me to take a look.
  8. I would extract each table to a spreadsheet in Excel, add the column with the table name, then paste them into one spreadsheet. After that, just import into a new table.
  9. Do you mean coat? If so, I think he's all Akita in the coat department.
  10. Meet Teddy, our latest foster. He is an Akita/ Komondor mix. He will be a very big boy. I am guessing that he will easily top out at 100 lbs plus. He is 8 weeks old and his paws are almost as big as my palm.
  11. There has to be a NowThis joke in this somewhere.
  12. Old pic. Posted as far back as December.
  13. Both of these sweet girls have been adopted! The one with socks was adopted yesterday. It looks like we may be fostering a couple more lab/pyr mix pups in about 7 or 8 weeks.
  14. There is an assisted living facility at the end of my street and there is at least one case there. I hope that it doesn't run rampant in there, but I'd imagine that it will.
  15. You can see the exact moment when dumbass realizes that this was a shitty idea.
  16. For those of you with high school seniors, how are your kids handling this? My senior seems to be doing okay, but I know that all of this is bothering him. I don't see a graduation ceremony or senior prom for him. He's going into the Navy in July, so this is really shitty for him. Anyway, he seems to be keeping things in perspective, but I know that it has to suck.
  17. Second kid has upper management written all over him.
  18. Done and my apologies.
  19. The only way that you can tell that she has her hand up her ass and not her vag is because of her feet.
  20. The other one was adopted yesterday. This one is still available!
  21. Like most, I'm working from home. I do that a couple of days a week anyway, so it's nothing new. I have been working from home every day since last Wednesday. I have a space in the basement and the wife is working in the upstairs with the main level of the house as a buffer. The kids have been home since this Wednesday. I'm in the basement working and one of my teenage sons is also in the basement playing on the Xbox and talking with his friends. Teenagers are stupid. That is all.
  22. I'm a little late to the party, but I think I would have tried something a little salty with the abomination of peanut butter "moonshine". Maybe that would have countered the sweet taste?
  23. Probably that pederast Hanrahan.
  24. Watch your tone.
  25. The outcome may have been far different if you were in a car with a tiny horn.
