Theyre amazing. They work and are legal because theyre still under the legal limit of THC by "dry weight" (key distinction there). Check out Spensary, Delta Effex, and Hometown Hero (hometown hero deserves the love as they are one of the main orgs fighting to keep D8 legal and helped us avoid a ban a few months ago).
exactly, all these morons saying otherwise dont see the big picture. this aint 1995 anymore grandpa. if you want big names you gotta pony up.
also - this NIL shit has been going on for decades under the table. now its just public.
I dont hate Ketch as much as I probably should, but to call this "weaponization" is disingenuous. It has nothing to do with weaponizing things. This is just the way CFB is going to be for now. Paying kids a shit ton of money is Texas saying they are here to play ball in this new era of college football.
A lot of schools that arent building NIL programs are going to be left wondering what the fuck happened to all their recruits in a few years if they dont start doing the same. I am actually glad we seem to be slightly ahead of the curve on this one.
buncha fuckin idiots mad because the kid decomitted to make a quick 6 figures while Texas was trying to figure out if they were going to keep herman or not. every single last person here would have done the same, and if they say they wouldnt, they are dumber than I thought.
Exactly. Everyone here would take the deal he got in a fucking heartbeat. Idc how big of a Texas homer you are. He would have been an idiot to pass up that $$$
Ahh yes hes gonna have all the eyes on him once Texas and OU leave for the SEC and the Big 12 is stuck with highly anticipated 11 am matchups like Tech vs Kasnsas, Tech vs West Virginia, Tech vs UCF... I almost fell asleep just typing that.
I dont think the public opinion will be as harsh as you are anticipating. If he comes here, its gonna be a hype train until 2022. If he doesnt come here, we spin it as "hes a diva with an ego, only wants NIL money - doesnt really want to play football, we didnt want someone that isnt fully committed from the start" etc. We have some built in excuses to help us avoid total embarrassment.
And yes I am telling myself this to avoid complete and utter earth shattering disappointment when he goes to aggy.
Its pretty clear to me that stoops will take the job back and will be their HC after the bowl. Theres no way you just show up out of nowhere to be the interim coach if you arent looking to get back into the game.
