Honestly, it's probably good the smoke detector (specifically the hole) was there as it let the water drip through quickly instead of just sitting there and seeping into the drywall.
Jellyfish has added a category in the "patterns" part of their app called "university colors" (not to be confused with the "schools" category). In the "university colors" section they have 3 Texas Longhorns options. Seems like this has been added in the last 6 months or so.
OU, GA & A&M will all be better defensively than what we faced today. Anybody have a reasonable argument for why we perform better offensively in those games?
I'm sure there are options to take $10 off on Tuesday evening if you bring a can of green beans from Minyards or a 20 oz Dr. Pepper bottle on Thursday morning. Having said that, It does seem like they would benefit from having some sort of surge pricing model. Weekends can be full fare for entry (maybe still have some reduced entry with the Dr. Pepper bottle) and parking, but during the week make entry $5-$10 with parking in that same range. I'd bet their attendance would increase significantly. The coupon cost increase was a scam. Other than the vendors themselves realizing they are hurting sales by not reducing the number of tickets needed for a fried oreo I'm not sure much can be done about that.
We used to go on opening day every year and for TX/OU as frequently as possible. It's been 2 or 3 years since the opening day trip and pre-Covid for the game for a variety of reasons.
Easy to say now, but I have been wondering the same thing. I'll admit I'm not the biggest student of his career. I know there are some others who either declined (Tiger) or weren't considered (Phil) for other reasons. Seems like Justin Leonard would be high on the list of people getting consideration. Heck, bring back Stricker or Davis Love.
JJ Spaun and Sam Burns seem like good dudes. I always thought Morikawa seemed like a pretty chill guy, but something seems weird with the caddie-go-round he's been riding.
