The broader point that the load on KD and CP3 is not sustainable remains. It's clear that KD is locked in though. He's playing good defense (most of the time -- still gets lost on rotations and doesn't close out hard at times), creating easy buckets for role players, and still getting his at a ridiculously efficient clip. Barring injury this Suns team is my pick for champs.
Regarding their bench, Biyombo is such a schizophrenic player for them. There are times he's the instant energy, solid defense guy, but there are also stretches where he's the worst player on the court and getting exploited over and over. They need to have him use all 6 fouls guarding Jokic, being physical and staying attached to him.
Getting Cameron Payne back should help depth (assuming he's able to recapture some of the post-season magic from two years ago).
No everyone assumes this. There has not been a single quote from harden to that effect. Maybe it happens. Maybe it doesn't. Even if he declines it I would still expect Philly to offer more than anyone else to keep him.
Can you elaborate on this trade for Jaylen Brown? You think a single first round pick and a head case that no one wants on their team are going to get him? Or do you think that gets both brown and harden? One is ridiculous and the other is obvious trolling.
What was Dejounte Murray so mad about that he went at the ref after the game?
And I'm still incredulous that Denver couldn't pull out the win. I get that the 2-man game with Murray and Jokic is their bread and butter, but Porter should definitely be involved more
That's not what the zen asshole was referring to. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/29555143/nba-restart-how-nba-bubble-become-platform-social-justice
The conclusion is defensible but your reasoning is way off. If the Grizzlies are worse with Ja than without him, it's because of the negative impact he has on their defense, not because they stagnate on offense. I don't know the stats, but just from the eyeball test I'm betting their pace picks up considerably on offense with Ja on the floor.
The Jimmy Butler slander that's being thrown around us ridiculous.
And seriously WTF happened to Westbrook? Did he get hypnotized into being an efficient two way player?
It's close for me. He's not in the top 5 for sure. Jordan - Kareem - Lebron - Wilt - Russell is pretty definite to me. Bird - Magic - Duncan - Hakeem - KD is my next five. I'd have Kobe and Shaq in the next five for sure, probably with Steph, Big O, and Dr J.
The myth of Draymond the basketball genius is so overblown. He's no dummy but he's not the combination of Magic and Rodman that people pretend he is. He's a fake tough guy who would have washed out of the league had he been drafted by any other team.
