I could probably add a couple of pages to this thread just with the texts I will get over the next couple of hours. They want to take our new boat out and against my better judgement I said ok. One of the girls has a boat an apparently drives it all the time.
Last time we were both out there my wife wanted to take a video of me getting the boat ready to take out (taking cover off, lowering the lift, turning battery on, raising the tower). We got 30 seconds in and she says "hold on, I just got a text" and for some reason it couldn't wait. After she responded, I had to start over. She then tells me to hold on again and I glance at her phone and it's on Instagram. I lost it and just walked away before I shoved her in the lake. It took her 5 minutes to realize I wasn't there anymore.
She is on her girls' weekend, and needs to take the Mule to take some trash to dumpster. Not sure why as she has only been there 12 hours but that's a different topic. I just got this text...
""I turn the car on then put it in neutral then start to drive right?"
Erik Larson has some good ones...
The Devil in the White City - dual story of the making of the Chicago World's Fair along with serial killer H.H. Holmes during the fair. Scorsese is making a movie with Leo based on the book Isaac's Storm - the story of the 1900 Galveston hurricane
I also read Skip Hollandsworth's...
The Midnight Assassin - relatively unknown Jack the Ripper style serial killer in Austin in the late 1800's, great story as well as a nice read about Austin at that time
Why was Bananas filming Melissa coming out of the bathroom in a towel in his hotel room? Actually, that's a stupid question, the real question is why did he let that get out?
She was in the on field suites for the UT-USC game. Stood in line for a drink next to her a couple of times. Roger Clemens too. McConaughey walked through on his way to on field access.
My mortgage guy for the first house I bought was the bassist for Deep Blue Something.
Fuck that. Foo Fighters are on the same level of Nickelback. Spare, generic band that cranks out simplistic songs for the radio.
Your taste in music is almost as bad as your taste in women.
