I just went back and looked. I opened up my "play" account back on March 25th for something to do during the shutdown. As of today, the entire account is up 4,500% ... this is insanity.
Are any of you other degenerates in WDLF? I can't figure out what's going on with the > 100% rise today other than the 8k saying they paid off some debt?
I just came across ERPNF myself. It looks like it hit an ATH today and technically isn't a "penny" stock at it's current price of $1.32, but it did open the day under a dollar so I guess it's fringy.
Guilty as charged, the last two days have been the "yin" to the tail end of last week's "yang" when I had down days that where each many times larger than the total amount I funded this "play" account with.
Oh, we’re telling those stories now? Over the summer/fall, I accumulated 7MM shares of SNVP buying dips when I saw them. I decided it wasn’t going anywhere back in Dec and sold at a small profit, leaving me 500k ‘free’ shares to ride to either hell or the moon.
While I understand the logic of scraping your original investment on a stock by stock basis and getting to free shares, that doesn't quite feel stonky enough for me. I funded my play account back in May or so and thanks to the Stonks thread, I am up very handsomely over all. So, I'm holding a cash balance equal to about 2x of my original funding amount and the rest is spread across about 22 different pink sheets. *rocket emoji* *moon emoji*
Finally got my high performance and complex endorsements this morning. I've had my PPL ticket for about two and a half years and was in need of access to a hp/complex plane to fly. Recently though, I've gotten the opportunity to use an A36 bonanza on a dry hourly rate and knocked it out.
I've gotta say, the Bo really scoots compared the C172 I had been flying around. It turns out it also falls out of the sky when you pull the power ... so that was sobering. Also, hand cranking the gear down is a real son-of-a-bitch.
FYI ... Schwab will allow me to buy and sell GME and all the other "big short" stocks. It will also let me buy and sell options on them (but they have increased the options limits. I'm about to buy a bunch of puts on GME so I can make money along with the crooks.
Question, how many of you dudes are trading your penny stocks on RH? I'm wondering how people getting pissed and bailing on RH will influence the penny stocks if lots of the retail traders in those stocks were using RH to trade them.
When the rats start jumping off the ship it will be crazy to see no bids on a company with an $18B market cap, Meaning when the party is over, who is going to buy all these shares?
A reminder for those here holding shares. I just voted, it took < a minute.
And to translate the shorthand for clarity:
Option 1 is R/S - "Reverse Split"
Option 2 is increase A/S - "Authorized Shares" ... per our fearless leader, vote for this one.
A little afternoon profit taking happening in ALPP at the moment, one could definitely expect this. Also, the coulda, woulda shoulda department. I imagine that several of us would be millionaires if we had not sold positions we held at some point over the last year. I'm focusing my attention forward and upward for now. I'm still trying to figure out a stop-loss strategy to lock in some of profits, but don't want to miss out on a run if it takes a dip before taking off again.
Regretting reducing my XMET position by 6MM shares at cost after the announcement of the Lazar exit. Happy to see what I have left is running.
I love seeing my portfolio up like this. Profit taking is tempting, but I'm determined to ride it out.
Here's where that came from ... my entire Coinbase portfolio took a 10% hit with this b**** started running her mouth (no CR).

The gambler in me wants to roll the dice and pick up some more shares at the new price ... but the whole "catching a falling knife" adage keeps ringing in my ears.
