It doesn't really matter to the NFC teams that only have to travel there once every 8 years, but that REALLY sucks for their divisional opponents. Scheduling would be a nightmare.
Heard on the radio this morning that the reason BowelMovement isn't giving interviews is because he landed some documentary deal that required his reactions on draft day be "exclusive". I don't think that's a character concern. There is PLENTY of reasons to knock BM's character, but this isn't one of them.
Is this your first draft? That's a pretty normal thing to do. A 2nd next year is the equivalent to a 3rd this year on most value charts. A second next year allows them to save face and it costs Dallas less to pull the trigger.
Seattle is in a situation where they are either going to trade him or keep him for one year before he leaves and they get nothing other than potentially a long hold out. They are lucky they have a trading partner.
Other than the fact there are 2 that are likely going in top 10..
So the pundits (non-espn) are thinking Vander Esch and James Daniels are the highest probability.
Harold Landry sliding would also be a pick if he somehow makes it past 14.
...
If WR isn't taken in the first 3 rounds.. Antonio Callaway would be a very tempting pick.
I've seen 2nd and then some as being the advertised price but I think it's way too expensive for how old he is and the fact we will have to sign him to a new deal. I'd have no problem with a 2nd next year and maybe a 4th this year. I want to keep pick #50 this year.
That's a very odd way of saying we have 4 out of 13 are becoming unrestricted free agents next year. Ealy.. Lawrence and Irving are expiring this year and expired last year.. Not particularly worried about it. That's about average that you'd have the entire d-line have their contracts expire every 4 years.
I'm on board with Vea but I don't think it's a must have.
