NFL Black Monday Thread/Coaching Carousel
I think Reid is setting him up to take over the Chiefs at this point. He kept mentioning him right after the SB. I didn't hear him mention the D coordinator. Reid is considering retiring and probably angling for EB to take over.

2023 Dallas Cowboys "We Suck Again" Off-Season Thread
Seems the first sentence is the right course of action if the unwritten piece is, "as long as he takes a significant pay cut and is cool with a vastly reduced role". Then when they later cut him, it's easy to say they wanted him but in a different way. The second sentence is mind bottling - of course Zeke sucked last year too, so no real drop off from then i guess.

Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread
Did I miss him about-face on this? At one point he said no one was paid - just good old fashioned hard work by the good guy coaches. Then he said after he did some research, learned only 1 or 2 had NIL deals. I hadn't seen him change his story again to say all his class was due to NIL.

2023 Transfer Thread - Texas Capitalized, ATM Victimized
I don't know about this. Sark, GP, CDC, Matthew McConaughey, and the Undertaker all took personal visits. They told me so. Maybe you weren't in the loop. How does one determine our level of effort on a guy?

Alamo Bowl: Texas vs. Washington - 8pm on ESPN
just spitballing, but I wonder if he had some type of injury. IIR he was dinged in the Kansas game and was questionable going into the Baylor game. He was his usual badass self vs. Baylor. Maybe whatever injury he had in the Kansas game wasn't completely healed so he decided to rest it and not risk re-injury. Yes, he can get hurt again in the Sr. Bowl - but less likely if he's fully healed. Just a thought.

Alamo Bowl: Texas vs. Washington - 8pm on ESPN
um, our D held them to 10 in the 1st half. He adjusted and scored on the 1st drive of 2nd half. Sark held to 3 in 1st half. adjusted and scored on 1st drive of 2nd half. CLEAR difference in the two.
